      Come join us for some great soccer in ATHENS, GEORGIA! 

      Athens United Soccer Association is pleased to announce the end of season Premier Tournament for Boys and Girls U9 to U19.

      The 2023 Athens United Finale will be held on November 18-19 2023. 

      This tournament is open to all competitive levels.

      The tournament will be headquartered, as it has been for many years, at the James Holland Youth Sports Complex, an Athens-Clarke County facility.  

      Other nearby facilities will be used for play as needed.

      Applications are available online so register today by clicking the "Apply" button above. Once you complete your registration, you will receive confirmation that your application has been received. When we reach our deadline for registrations, we will notify the accepted teams.

      A ROLLING DEADLINE WILL BEGIN ON OCTOBER  31st.

      AS DIVISIONS BECOME FULL, THAT DIVISION WILL BE CLOSED.

      For The Finale
      We are asking that each team to bring two small toys, one for a girl and one for a boy that will be donated to a local Athens charity to help bring joy to a young child’s Christmas. Please bring the gifts unwrapped along with you to registration.
      We are grateful for your participation and thank you for spreading the Christmas cheer!

    • The Tournament Committee is planning game schedules with a maximum number of eight teams at each competitive level in any age group. If any group has fewer applicants than that number, the number of participating teams in another group may be increased. The maximum number of players on a team’s official roster is 22 for teams U13 and above BUT ONLY 18 Players can dress for games. Players may participate on only one team in this tournament. 3 Guest players allowed. All teams are guaranteed a minimum of three games. We will have separate level groupings if entries permit. 

      The tournament committee reserves the option to combine groupings as necessary.

      Entry fee for the 2021 tournament are as follows: 

      $525.00 for U9 & U10 (7v7) Boys/Girls

      $550.00 for U11 & U12 (9v9) Boys/Girls

      $575.00 for U13,U14, (11v11) Boys/Girls

      $595.00 for U15,U16,U17 (11v11) Boys/Girls.

      $625.00 for U18, U19 ( 11v11) Boys/Girls 

      The Athens United Finale is a USYSA sanctioned tournament. All teams MUST be affiliated with USYSA. Current (2021-2022) seasonal year validated player passes must be presented at check-in. Out of state teams are required to have a travel authorization on the appropriate form, approved by the home state association. We look forward to an exciting tournament with participation by teams from several states. We will make your team most welcome!

    • Refs Wanted

      Good Soccer Tournaments require many things....including good officiating.  We are looking for dedicated and experienced referees for our December tournament. In todays economic environment, we are focusing on minimizing expenses without sacrificing quality and value. If you live in and around the Athens area and do not require hotel accommodations , we want to encourage you to register for the Finale Tournament.  If you will need a hotel room, we are asking that you agree to referee a minimum of eight (8) games over Saturday and Sunday.

      To insure the quality of service provided for the event, we have partnered with Group Housing as the official Hospitality Service of the tournament. 

      All teams who need accommodations are encouraged to make hotel reservations through GroupHousing.  These hotels support our event.  GroupHousing guarantees the lowest rate available at all hotels.  GroupHousing will make this process efficient and friendly for you, while providing exceptional hotel accommodations for all teams.       OLC _ Will be available as soon as your team has been accepted.

      There is $20 fee for this service paid to SINC Sports. Non -Refundable.

       

      You must have your tournament registration fees paid before 11-10 2022 at 6:00 PM

      You must also have any coaching conflicts registered before 11-10 2022 at 10:00 AM

       

      OLC Has to be started by Wednesday, November, 16th by 6:00 PM and completed by November 17th before 8:00 PM
