Our tournament DOES NOT REQUIRE you to stay with out Accomodation Partners, however, we work closely with our partners to secure great group rates and prices for the teams attending the tournament. Team & Player Elgibility
All teams and players must be USSF and USYSA affiliated for the 2012-2013 seasonal year in order to be eligible to participate in this event. All players are required to have birthdate verified player passes, notorized medical releases and must be members in good standing with their USSF affiliate organization.
Players and Guest Players
Players may only play on one team when participating in this tournament. Each team will be allowed to roster up to three (3) USSF or USYSA affiliated guest players in the tournament. The age and playing division of each guest player must be within the age and playing division entered.
Game Format & Times
Academy - Festival Format, each team plays two games on Saturday
U6 - 15 minute halves - 4v4 no goalkeeper
U8 - 20 minute halves - 5v5 no goalkeeper
U10 - 25 minute halves - 6v6 with goalkeeper
Competitive
U10 - 25 minute halves - 6v6
U11-U12 - 30 minute halves - 8v8
U13-U16 - 35 minute halves - 11v11
U17-U19 - 40 minute halves - 11v11
Overtime - Overtime will only be played on semi-final or final games to determine a winner. All overtimes will be 10 minutes.
Water Rule
In any FYSA sanctioned match a FYSA mandatory water break will be given at the midpoint of each half of regulation time and at the end of each overtime period for player hydration when the air temperature is or is expected to reach 85 degrees.
Points System
Team standings will be based on the following point system:
Win - 6 Points
Tie - 3 Points
Loss - 0 Points
Shutout - 1 Point (prevailing or tied teams only)
Goals - 1 Point (max 3 per game)
Payments
Payments must be received no later than 10 days after registration in order to be accepted into the tournament. Any team who has not made payment in full by the registration and payment deadline set by the Tournament Director will not be allowed to be placed in the schedule therefore not be allowed to compete in the tournament.
Team Check - in Documentation Required
- Three (3) copies of your approved State Association Team Roster. Two (2) copies to be retained by Bay United Soccer Club. These may also be printed from Soccer-In-College Format.
- Permission to Travel Form (out-of-state teams).
- Notarized Medical Release Forms for each player on the roster.
- Current and Verified USYSA laminated Player Passes with photo.
- Game Cards will be printed from Soccer-In-College Format (4 copies).
- Hotel Information Sheet completed and turned in.
