Atlanta Fire United invite you to
enter the 2012 Atlanta Fire United shootout for academy teams and select
teams. The shootout is santioned
by GYSA and USYSA and will be played on August 18 & 19 2012 in the Suwanee
and Duluth Metro Atlanta area.
Competition is open to both Boys and Girls teams in the Academy, Athena,
or Classic programs in the Under 9 through Under 15 age groups.
Each team will
play a minimum of 3 games, a maximum of 4 games with referees on game fields
that should be in great condition.
Teams are grouped based on competition level.
All tournament
information will be posted on this website. Check back often for details and
updates.
TEAMS
All teams must be affiliated with USYSA. Up to three guest players are
allowed. Teams will compete in
groups of similar competition level.
Divisions will be comprised of the following whenever
possible:

Intermediate Competitive
Competitive
Divisions may
be further subdivided should the number of entries warrant.
AGE DIVISIONS
A limited number of teams will be accepted into the following USYSA sanctioned
age groups.
Under 15 -
Oldest player born after July 31, 1996
Under 14 - Oldest player born after July 31, 1997
Under 13 - Oldest player born after July 31, 1998
Under 12 - Oldest player born after July 31, 1999
Under 11 - Oldest player born after July 31, 2000
Under 10 - Oldest player born after July 31, 2001
Under 9 - Oldest player born after July 31, 2002
The tournament
committee reserves the right to combine age group divisions to balance the
competition level within a group.

Any payments by check must be received within one week of
submitting application. Once your
team is accepted, the entry fee is non-refundable. If your team is not accepted, the entry fee will be refunded
in full.
CHECK-IN
Check-in will be held on Friday, August ??, 2010, from 6:00
PM to 9:00 PM at Wellness Performance Institute in Suwanee, Georgia.
All teams Must check in at this time.

College Team Roster – 4 copies that will be returned to you – Players names
must be printed. No hand written players will be accepted.
