The ADIDAS Germantown Invitational Series is open to select and premier teams registered and in good standing with their USYS/US Club affiliated association. Four different weekends encompass Age groups u9, u10, u11, u12, u13, u14, u15, u16, u17, u19 for boys and girls.
Teams will be grouped according to past playing record to make the most competitive divisions possible. The Germantown Invitational Committee alone determines final placement. The Committee uses many factors when ranking teams including league playing division and record, State Cup and tournament results, USA Rank ranking service, etc.

While we encourage you to enter early, early application does not guarantee acceptance. The computerized team application system will assign your age group based on the age of your oldest registered player. All players must by registered for current seasonal year. A player may play for only one team during the tournament.
U9 - U10 7v7; maximum roster size- 14 players
U11 - U12 will play 9v9; maximum roster size is 16 players
U13 - U14 will play 11v11; maximum roster size is 18 players.
A maximum of 3 guest players per team for U9 - U12 and 5 guest players per team for U13-u14 is allowed. Guest players must be registered, have a current seasonal year player pass and are added to your roster for check-in
Required Team Documents
- Official USYS/US Club Team Roster MUST include all players names and jersey numbers. It is acceptable to write-in guest player names. We accept all digital versions of Official Team Rosters including digital photos and scanned files.
- USYS/US Club laminated player cards are required for all rostered players and coaches. Each card must include a recent picture and state registrar's signature. These cards will be verified with the roster on the field prior to the games by the referee.
- 2016-2017 Medical Release forms with parent signatures
- Travel Permits (USYS Region III/ TN team are not required to have a Travel Permit
Teams will play two games on Saturday, No Friday games. The earliest game Saturday begins at 8:00 am. The last final on Championship Sunday will begin no later than 4:00 pm. Game schedules will not be adjusted to accommodate individual teams scheduling. We do our best to accommodate coaches with more than one team.
Our quick, easy and complimentary online check-in will be open beginning Oct. 25th for all the accepted teams participating in the GIT Boys U9-U14. The check-in team information is listed below. We will not hold an in-person registration for our event. All teams MUST register online by the Wednesday, November 8th! All official rosters and player cards will be uploaded through our online registration platform. Please note: All required team documents MUST be ON HAND during the tournament weekend. Rosters and Player cards will be verified on the field by the referees prior to the games.
Info needed for online check-in: Team Name, Team State, Age Division, Gender, Team Contact phone and email, team roster and player cards uploaded (We accept all digital versions of the Official Team Rosters including digital photos and scanned files) If roster incomplete due to injuries and guest players, complete the online check-in form and select the "Save and Continue" feature to complete.
Individual awards for 1st and 2nd place teams in each competitive age division.
All games will be played at Mike Rose Soccer Complex in Southeast Shelby County one of the finest soccer specific facilities in the Southeast. The complex will charge $5 weekend parking fee for all family sized vehicles, $30 for team buses or RV's. Please note during the tournament weekends the traffic runs ONE WAY throughout the complex. Mike Rose Soccer Complex will assist you with your hotel reservations. This service is being provided to simplify the hotel reservation process by decreasing the number of phone calls and saving you time. By submitting a Hotel Request Form, the MRSC Hotel Division will provide you with the room availability to all of the hotels on our Preferred and Approved Hotel list.
We will deposit all funds and return refunds to all teams not accepted. Once your team has applied and accepted your entry fee is non-refundable.
If interested in refereeing, fill out the referee form under the referee tab on the tournament website. Rule Change: US Youth Soccer No Heading Policy will be enforced for the U9-U11 divisions.
