South Tangi Youth Soccer Association is happy to bring you the 38th Annual Girls Strawberry Cup. This competition welcomes teams from across the entire Gulf Coast area and beyond.
Tournament will take place on March 22-24, 2024. A few local or nearby teams may play Friday Night games. Teams will be asked for consent before scheduling takes place, if there is a need to play on Friday.
9U-10U teams will play in a jamboree/festival format, but we prefer to call it a "Rumble". Teams will play 2 games, and they will be paired against different opponents in a fun environment. Games will be played on Saturday. Medals will be provided to all players participating in our "Rumble".
All 11U teams and older will play in a tournament format with a trophy for the winner and medals for both Champions and Finalists.
STYSA has hosted this annual tournament in Hammond, Louisiana for the past 37 years. The Strawberry Cup will take place at Chappapeela Sports Park, conveniently located off I-12 at Exit 42. Outside food or drinks (players may bring water or sports drinks) are not allowed in the park. RV's are not allowed in the park.

Once you complete your registration, you will receive confirmation that your application has been received. When we reach our deadline for registrations, we will notify the accepted teams.

This is NOT a Stay-and-Play Event
Please note that some age divisions may fill up before the application deadline. We suggest you submit your application early. The earliest received application and paid fee will determine order of acceptance.
This tournament is unrestricted. Teams registered and in good standing with any U.S. Soccer Federation affiliate are eligible to apply.
WE CAN HELP WITH LCSL SCHEDULING REQUESTS (please contact Tournament Director for assistance before planning any LCSL games)
We want teams to feel safe in applying for the STYSA Strawberry Cup 2024 tournament. 100% of paid registration fees (less any credit card processing fees) are protected if the tournament is cancelled prior to the start of the event due to COVID-19 federal, state, or local guidelines.
In the event the STYSA Strawberry Cup 2024 tournament is cancelled due to COVID-19, teams will be given options to receive a refund of their registration fees.
If the event is not affected by COVID-19, the normal STYSA tournament refund policy will apply.
