Kingsley Onwuka

A native of Nigeria, Kingsley moved to the United States at age 11 and began playing soccer in the Baltimore area. He cultivated his skills at Kenwood High School, where he won several awards as the team captain. His efforts culminated in his induction to the Kenwood High School Hall of Fame in 2019.


After high school, Kingsley attended the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) Essex. During his two years at CCBC Essex, he helped his team reach Nationals twice by tallying 21 goals and 5 assists in 28 games. Then, he transferred to UMBC for his final two collegiate seasons where he contributed to a 2010 American East Conference Championship win and an NCAA D1 2nd round appearance. Onwuka graduated from UMBC with a Bachelors degree in Political Science.


Onwuka continued playing professionally after College in the MISL, MASL, ASL and NISA. Onwuka quickly discovered his passion for coaching and training through Kings Dynamic Training. He served as the varsity assistant coach at The John Carroll School in 2016. Onwuka seized the opportunity to return to his high-school Alma Mater in 2019 as the head men’s coach where he led the program to 3 consecutive winning seasons, two 2nd round playoff appearances and 2021 Baltimore County Division Championship. Onwuka also spent the 2021 season as a volunteer assistant coach for The Notre Dame College of Maryland.

Karmo Bolay

Coach Bolay has over 14 years of competitive soccer experience, including playing at the varsity level in High School, Travel Club, and College at the NCAA and NJCAA levels. He signed his first professional contract with IFK Maryland in the American Soccer League in 2015. He also had professional stints in Umeå, Sweden in the summers of 2015 and 2017. Coach Bolay began his coaching career in 2012 as an assistant coach for the CSSM Soccer Academy U14 side. The following year he became director of the CSSM Soccer Junior Academy, a program whose main focus was to build a culture of passion, confidence, and love for the game of soccer in young players ages 8-12. He currently serves as Vice-President of IFK Maryland Soccer Club and Pro-Academy.


Coach Bolay has an impressive coaching resume. He served as a head coach at CSSM Academy U13 from 2012-2014. Then Bolay simultaneously served as Glen Burnie High School’s JV boy’s head coach and the varsity program’s assistant coach from 2015-2017. Between the years of 2016-2018, he was the head coach for the U-18 IFK Maryland team. Currently, Coach Bolay serves as an assistant coach at U-23 Pro Academy (since 2017), while also serving as coaching director at the IFK Maryland Junior Academy since 2015.


Currently, Coach Bolay holds a number of licenses and certificates. He is in possession of his USSF F license, USSF E license, and 4 NFHS coaching certificates. He is also in the process of obtaining his USSF D license.


When asked to comment on his new position, Coach Bolay said: “As a former Cardinal, it gives me great pride to be back here in this new capacity. I am looking forward to working with the ladies and cultivating a positive team culture in the women’s program once again.”
