Pritchard Ndaira

Pritchard Ndaira enters his fifth season at the helm for the Lady Eagles.


Ndaira led his team to an 8-8-1 record in his second season, the first .500 or better season by the program since 2011 and to the SSAC semifinals in the "2020" season for the first time since 2012. He has led the Lady Eagles to three consecutive SSAC postseason appearances.


He is no stranger to Faulkner as he started as goalkeeper for the Eagles from 2012 through 2014 where he led the league in saves per game his last three seasons. The Triangle, Zimbabwe, native tallied 323 saves over three seasons, averaging 6.6 stops per contest. He also played semi-pro soccer for five seasons three different teams: Birmingham Hammers (2015-2017), Georgia Revolution (2014), Myrtle Beach Mutiny (2013). In 2015, Ndaira trained with Phillip Poole who is the current goalkeeper coach for the United States Women's Soccer Team.


Ndaira was also a three-time all-academic team member and earned a conference Defensive Player of the Week honor his senior year. He also earned second-team All-SSAC honors in 2014. He earned team MVP honors three times.


After graduating, he pursued coaching opportunities at George Washington Carver High School and Mountain Brook High School where he served as assistant coach in 2016 and 2017, respectively.


Ndaira worked with the Alabama Olympic Development Program as a goalkeeper coach and the Alabama Elite Player Development Program as a head coach. He has also coached with the Vestavia Hills Soccer Club and Crank Soccer since 2017.


Ndaira earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Faulkner in 2015 and acquired a Masters of Justice Administration in May 2021.


He is married to the former Nicole Berryman, who was a goalkeeper for the Lady Eagles for four seasons as well. They are the proud parents of their daughter Charlotte and son Jackson.
