Career Synopsis


The 2023 season marks Spell's 18th year at Heidelberg and third as head men's soccer coach


Spent 15 seasons as head coach of the women's soccer program


Career record of 84-165-21 (32-94-9 OAC) with the women's team


Spell is an Advanced National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and United States Soccer Federation (USSF) "D" licensed coach


Has coached 18 All-OAC and 44 Academic All-OAC performers during his tenure at the Berg

Took over as men's soccer head coach where he tallied six wins, two of which were OAC victories
