Connor Keenan

As preparations for the 2023-24 academic year continue at King's College, it is with great pleasure that Associate Vice President and Executive Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Cheryl Ish announces the newest addition to the Monarchs coaching staff. On Monday afternoon, Ish welcomed Connor Keenan as the next Head Men's Soccer Coach.


Keenan replaces John Velasco after Velasco departed to join Division I Temple University as an Assistant Coach, and Keenan looks to help build on the historic tradition of success and excellence with the King's men's soccer program.

2015 graduate of Lycoming College with a Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice with a minor in domestic public policy.


2018 graduate of The Catholic University of America Busch School of Business with a Master's Degree in leadership and management.


Four-year letter winner and two-year team captain in men's soccer (2011-2014).


Helped lead the Warriors men's soccer team to a 2013 MAC Champion title and NCAA Division III Tournament appearance.


Earned 2013 MAC Tournament MVP.


Was a two-time All-MAC selection (2013, 2014) and NSCAA First-Team All-Region (2014).


U.S. Soccer C License, United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma - Good Pass, United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeping Level I Diploma, and USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coach Certified.

Tommy Knox

With just 23 days until their first contest of the 2023 season, newly appointed head coach Connor Keenan announced the King's College men's soccer coaching staff on Wednesday afternoon. A familiar face returns to the sideline as Mike Pryor will maintain his role as assistant coach under Keenan, while newcomer Tommy Knox joins the staff as an assistant coach this year.

Native of West Hartford, Conn.


2022 graduate of Elizabethtown College with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in management and a minor in coaching.


Four-year member of the Elizabethtown men's soccer team (2018-21).


Helped lead the Blue Jays to a Landmark Conference Championship in 2018.


Earned the Blue Jays' men's soccer Gene Clemens Award which identifies the team's most influential player.


Holds a U.S. Soccer Coaching Grassroots license and TIPS Certification.

Mike Pryor

Mike Pryor enters his third year on the coaching staff for the Monarchs in 2023. He comes to King's after serving time as the assistant men's soccer coach at West Chester University.

2009 graduate of West Chester University with a bachelor's degree in liberal studies and minors in professional education and health.


2011 graduate of Wilkes University with a master's in business administration and a concentration in marketing and entrepreneurship.


Competed for Division II West Chester for four seasons (2005-08).


Helped the Golden Rams to a 45-32-6 overall record in his 77 career games.


Earned All-PSAC honors twice (2006, 2008) and All-Atlantic Region (2006).


Named West Chester's Men's Soccer Scholar Athlete (2008).


Owner of Quik Touch Soccer that includes individual and small-group based training.


Has a USSF C License, USYS National Youth Diploma, USC Premier Diploma, and USC Director of Coaching Diploma.
