Zach Swarbrick

Zach Swarbrick joined the Luther College soccer coaching staff in the summer of 2022. This will be his second season with the Norse.

Swarbrick is set to join Luther after three seasons with the Frostburg State Bobcats, primarily working with defensemen. In those three years, Swarbrick helped the team to its first Mountain East Conference (MEC) Tournament since joining the conference in 2019. Additionally, senior goalkeeper Joel Assal earned All-Region honors after the conclusion of the 2021 season, while both Assal and first year defender Matt Garrett earned All-MEC honors as well. In addition to his coaching duties, Swarbrick was actively involved in Frostburg State's recruiting and led the academic management of Bobcat student-athletes.

Prior to his coaching days at Frostburg State, Swarbrick put together an impressive playing career at Rowan University. A Division III powerhouse in men's soccer, Rowan made three NCAA Tournament appearances during Swarbrick's tenure and won the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Regular Season Title in 2017. As a sophomore in 2016, Swarbrick led all Profs in minutes played and guided Rowan to a top-5 ranking in both D3soccer.com and the United Soccer Coaches (USC) top-25 polls.
