Sean Hallas

Sean Hallas led the Mavericks to a record of 13-4-1 in his first season in charge, winning the regular season championship with a record of 8-0, scoring 33 goals and only conceding five. The Mavericks placed one player on the United Soccer Coaches Regional Team who was top goalscorer in the nation with 25 goals. He also placed nine players on All-Conference Teams with six of those being Freshman. He was named AMCC Coach of the Year for his efforts in the 2021 Season.


Prior to being promoted as the program's Head Coach, Hallas spent two years as the lead assistant. In the 2019 Season, the Mavericks won the Regular Season Championship for the first time in six years while also placing two players on the United Soccer Coaches Regional Team, and eight players on All-Conference Teams.


Hallas, a Native of Leeds, England has also been a key part of the Buffalo Youth Soccer scene for the last five years. He started work with GPS in 2017 with various age groups from U6-U18. Hallas is currently a Head Coach at WNY Flash Academy within the ECNL Boys, one of the largest youth leagues across the United States.


Hallas began his collegiate playing career in 2012 at Genesee Community College (NY) playing on two teams that combined for a (33-6-0) record. He then transferred to William Carey University (MS) where his team made back-to-back NAIA National Tournament appearances.? Hallas graduated from William Carey in 2017 earning his Bachelors in Exercise Science.

Bautista Pedezert

Bautista Pedezert joined the Mavericks as an Assistant Coach in January 2021. Pedezert, a native of Buenos Aires, helped the Mavericks to a 13-4-1 record in his first season on the sidelines winning back-to-back AMCC Regular Season Titles, and placing nine players on All-Conference Teams.


A 2019 Graduate of D1 Niagara University, Pedezert captained the Purple Eagles in his Junior and Senior seasons.


Pedezert has been involved within the Buffalo Youth Soccer scene since graduation and was named a Director at Local Buffalo Rush Soccer Club. Pedezert is currently coaching at WNY Flash Academy within the ECNL Boys platform.
