Anthony Paolini

Anthony Paolini is a highly dedicated and accomplished coach, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to CMSV. With a background in Computer Engineering and a profound passion for the beautiful game, he has excelled both as a player and as an exceptional mentor for young athletes. His commitment to excellence, strong work ethic, and unwavering pursuit of personal growth have further solidified his reputation in the coaching realm.

Coach Paolini's soccer journey commenced with a standout career as a player. During his time at Sacred Heart University, he demonstrated exceptional skills and dedication on the field, earning him a place in all matches and significantly contributing to the team's success with one goal and three assists. Continuing his success at Post University, Anthony played a pivotal role in helping his team secure the CACC Regular Season Championship, along with achieving the prestigious All CACC First Team honors.

His outstanding performances led to participation in the D2 NCAA Tournament, where the Eagles advanced to the Elite-8, only to be narrowly defeated by Franklin Pierce in the final seconds of extra time. Post-college, Anthony continued to shine, taking on captaincy roles for the Westchester Flames USL2 and AC Connecticut USL2 teams. His exceptional playing skills earned him the privilege of training with renowned professional teams like Hartford Athletic, NYCFC2, and Colorado Hailstorm.

The pinnacle of his playing career came with Lansdowne Yonkers F.C, where he proudly lifted the National Champion and Fricker Cup Champion trophies. Additionally, Anthony had the honor of participating in two consecutive US Open Cup tournaments, competing against esteemed opponents such as Rochester FC and Hartford Athletic.

As an Assistant Boys Varsity Coach at Joel Barlow High School, he played a crucial role in planning sessions, mentoring players on and off the field, and skillfully handling logistics to ensure the team's success. Under his guidance, the Falcons achieved the High School SWC Champions title in 2019 and

reached the Class M State Runner Up position in 2021. His tenure at Joel Barlow resulted in an impressive 39-10-15 coaching record. Currently, Coach Paolini works with Revolution United, where he continues to make a significant difference within the youth program. He strategically plans sessions to foster player development, creating a positive and approachable environment that encourages continuous growth and learning.

“I have had to privilege of following Tony not only as a player but as a young, meticulous, self-driven coach. He brings a carefully thought out but dynamic approach to our program. He specializes in individual positioning training and has a tactical philosophy that modernizes and provides adaptability in the way we want to perform on the field as well as off it."

I have had a profile on SINC Soccer for 4 years, and it helped me to organize my information so that I was ready when the recruiting process started. I had selected some schools using your site when I was 13 and that helped to start the conversation with those schools and find out about their ID camps, and when UNC made an offer I was prepared.
