Andy Robinson begins his ninth season at North Greenville University after serving as head coach of the women’s soccer team at nearby Eastside High School in Taylors, SC from 2003-2014. Robinson returns to North Greenville where he was the men’s and women’s soccer coach from 2001-2002.

In charge of the Lady Eagle program since 2003, Robinson spent 12 seasons as head coach of the Lady Eagles, with an overall record of 221-71, which is one of the top winning percentages in the State of South Carolina.

Robinson made six State Championship appearances, winning titles in 2003 and 2007 and finishing as a runner up in 2005, 2011, 2012 and 2013. He led the Lady Eagles to seven Region Championships and six Upper State Championships. In 2007 the Lady Eagles finished ranked in the NSCAA National Top 20 high school poll in America.

In addition to success on the field, Robinson was named Region Coach of the Year in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2008, and 2010 and was selected the SCHSCA State Coach of the year in 2007 and 2012. He was also chosen in 2007 by the National Federation of State High School Association Coach of the Year.

Robinson received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Physical Education from Covenant College, while also earning a Master’s degree in Sports Administration and Psychology from the University of Kansas.

He is married to Ann Robinson and the couple has three daughters, Asheton, Abby and Ansley.

Sayit Mejia Bello

Sayit Mejia Bello is entering her first year at North Greenville after spending the past five seasons as an assistant coach with the women's soccer program at Mississippi College.


Over her five seasons on the staff, the Lady Choctaws have posted a 59-16-3 record that includes advancing to three straight NCAA Division II Tournaments and moving on to the "Sweet Sixteen" in 2018. MC also played for the Gulf South Conference Championship in her first two seasons (2016 & 2017). She was part of the staff that was named the United Soccer Coaches South Region Coaching Staff of the Year in 2018. Prior to her time as an assistant, Mejia Bello played two seasons for the Lady Choctaws, scoring 18 goals with 12 assists. She was a National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) All-American in 2015 and earned NCCAA All-MidEast Region status in 2014 and 2015.

Andrew Aulick

Former North Greenville women's soccer assistant coach Andy Aulick entered his first season as head coach of the men's program in 2020.


Aulick joined the Crusaders as an assistant coach for the women's soccer team under Andy Robinson in 2017. Since then, the program has achieved three consecutive winning seasons as well as three straight Conference Carolinas Tournament appearances.


Andrew Aulick began his coaching career serving as the head coach of the Buchholz High School boys varsity program in Gainesville, FL. where he coached for 5 years. Under his leadership the program gained a 76-20-16 record. During this time he also led the varsity boys team to the state final four, regional championship and its first district title in over 12 years. The program finished with a top 10 national ranking in 2012-13 according to MaxPreps. After being nominated, Aulick served as the FACA Florida North State All Star Boys Head & Assistant Coach in 2011-2013 and All-County Coach of the Year in the 2012-13 and 2013-14 seasons. Outside of high school, he also served as a staff coach for Gainesville Soccer Alliance, a club soccer organization, from 2009-2014.


Andrew Aulick transitioned to the Greenville area in 2014 and began working with club teams at Carolina FC in Spartanburg. He served as the 00 Boys and 98 Girls Head Coach from 2015-2017. He led his 98 girls team to a 3rd place finish in the state in 2015 and a 2nd place finish in the state in 2016. His girl’s team also competed in the Southern Regional Premier League and finished in 2nd place, making one of the best showings from a Carolina FC team in club history.


Aulick is accredited with an Advanced National Diploma from the NSCAA and a National License from the USSF.


In his playing career, Aulick was a high school captain and defensive standout player leading his team to a Florida state championship in 2002. He then went on to play collegiately for the University of Florida Club team from 2003-2007 where he was a 4-year starter. The Gators team won the Florida Collegiate League in the 2005-2007 seasons and was the Southeast Regional finalists, finishing in the top 25 nationally in 2005.


Outside of coaching, Aulick is the Head Soccer Coordinator for the Upward Star Center. Andrew and his wife, Marissa, have three kids; a daughter, Ariella, and two sons, Judah and Callum.

Joshua Gutierrez

Josh Gutierrez has joined the NGU Men's Soccer coaching staff as an assistant coach for the 2022 season.


In his playing career, Gutierrez began playing soccer for the first time at 16 and played two years of high school and club soccer. Was named captain of his high school team in his second year of playing and won the U18 South Carolina Youth Soccer State Cup.


Coach Gutierrez began his coaching career at Carolina FC where he coached for almost 10 years. Gutierrez coached several teams in his time where he won multiple tournaments and leagues.


Gutierrez began coaching high school soccer and serves as head coach at his alma mater, James F. Byrnes in Duncan, SC for the past 3 years. Under his leadership the program went to the 2nd round playoffs for the first time in the history of the program.
