Emma Woodley

Coach Emma (Lundeen) Woodley enters her third season as head coach of the North Park University women's soccer team in 2022, marking her sixth year as a coach with the program.


Woodley is certainly no stranger to NPU women's soccer. A four-year letter winner and 2015 NPU Female Athlete of the Year, Woodley earned First Team All-College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) recognition; the first time a Viking was named to the First Team in over 15 years. Woodley broke the single-season record for goals scored during her illustrious senior campaign, marking a league-leading 17. In that 2014 season, Woodley led the league in points (37), points per game (2.06), and goals per game (0.94). Woodley finalized her decorated career with a program second-best 29 goals while breaking the single-season mark for points in a year (37).


Upon graduating from North Park in 2015, Woodley joined the Viking coaching staff as a graduate assistant. She rejoined the women's soccer program, while continuing to serve as an admissions counselor, for the 2019 season.

Ashley Meyer

Ashley Meyer joined the North Park University women’s soccer program as a graduate assistant coach in the fall of 2020.


Prior to North Park, Meyer played two seasons at NCAA Division III Dominican University (2010-2011) before transferring to UW-Parkside (2012, 2014), where she completed her collegiate career.


In her sophomore season at Dominican, Meyer led the Stars with 15 goals and 35 points in her 18 matches played. In the following season, now at UW-Parkside, Meyer started in all 20 matches for the Rangers. She finished second on the team with six assists and 14 points while scoring four total goals. In her Ranger debut, she assisted on all three goals against Norwood (August 30) in a 3-2 win.


After sitting out the 2013 season due to injury, Meyer played in all 22 matches during her 2014 senior campaign. She scored a pair of goals while finishing the season with a team second-best five assists. Meyer capped her collegiate career with some notable moments, assisting on a pair of goals against Lewis University in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Quarterfinals while also scoring a goal of her own against Saginaw Valley State University in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.


Following her playing career, Meyer assisted the women’s soccer program at Evanston Township High School and also served as a substitute teacher. Additionally, she worked as a personal trainer at XSport Fitness, Evanston Athletic Club, and F45 Training Glenview.

Kris Grahn

The 2022 season will be the fourth as the head coach of the North Park University men's soccer team, and the 12th on the coaching staff, for Kris Grahn.


After five years as the Associate Head Coach of the North Park University men's soccer team, Kris Grahn became the head coach in May of 2019. Grahn succeeded twenty-year head coach John Born, who transitioned to the position of Assistant Vice President for Athletics and Sport Management.


In his first season leading the Vikings, Grahn led his team to a 2019 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) league title and a CCIW Tournament championship before being named the CCIW Co-Coach of the Year. Grahn followed that performance up in 2021 with a NCAA Quarterfinals finish, as well as another league title.


Beginning his Viking coaching career as a graduate assistant in 2011, he transitioned to a full-time position in 2013, helping guide North Park to back-to-back conference titles in 2017 and 2018. Grahn also helped assist the program's highest-finishing team in 2017, finalizing the season as the NCAA Division III National Runner-Up with a record of 20-2-2. The decorated season included a league title, CCIW tournament championship, seven All-CCIW selections (including Newcomer and Player of the Year), four All-Region picks, and a First Team All-American selection.


One of the most decorated soccer players in North Park history, Grahn was a member of the 2010 CCIW championship team, garnering Player of the Year honors that same season. Grahn scored the game-winning goal in both the conference final and in North Park's first-ever NCAA playoff win. During his illustrious career, he was named a CCIW First Team selection and All-Region selection in each of his four years. Additionally, Grahn was as a D3soccer.com All-American in 2010 and a NSCAA All-American in 2011.


Grahn appears in numerous categories within the Viking men's soccer record books. He is first in career assists (25) and career points (95), tied for second all-time in career goals scored (35), and marked back-to-back of nine assists in 2009 and 2010, a single-season eighth-best.

Karsten Hahn

Karsten Hahn begins his 11th year as an assistant coach for the North Park University men's soccer team in 2022.


Hahn played collegiately at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater from 2003-2004 and earned Second Team All-Conference honors. He then transferred to DePaul University in 2005 and was a member of their men's soccer program. Hahn began club coaching in 2007 with Chicago Fire Juniors before joining FC United and then Chicago Magic PSG. Currently, he is a member of the Chicago Fire Juniors City coaching staff and works with their top-level high school boys' teams.


As a coach, Hahn has been a part of five CCIW championships, three CCIW Tournament championships, a sectional championship, and was a coach on the 2017 team that finished as the nation's runner-up. He has helped the Vikings reach the NCAA Tournament three times in the past four seasons.
