Danesha Adams

Danesha Adams has served as the co-head coach along with J.J. Wozniak for the Pacific program for three seasons following a season as an assistant coach on the Tiger staff.


The duo was named interim co-head coaches on July 28, 2021 and guided the Tigers to their best record in 12 years at 10-6-3. The team got off to a hot start, recording an 8-1-1 non-conference record, including winning the last six non-league games. The squad recorded nine shutouts on the season and junior Brenna Crump was named WCC Goalkeeper of the Year. Pacific finished 2-5-2 in the tough WCC in that season. Adams and Wozniak so impressed the conference coaches that they were named WCC Coaches of the Year following the season.


Adams and Wozniak were named to the full-time post as co-head coaches on November 9, 2021. In the 2022 campaign, the Tigers had an even more impressive non-conference campaign, finishing with a 5-0-6 mark, including a 2-0 win over Santa Clara in a non-league match at Knoles Field. Over the first two seasons, the Tigers had a non-conference record of 13-1-7 and a streak of 17 matches without a loss. Pacific finished with two WCC wins and four ties for 10 points, an improvement from the eight points earned the previous year.


Adams joined the Pacific staff as an assistant coach in March 2020 and helped guide the team for the 2020 season, which was played in the spring of 2021.


Adams was an assistant at Houston for the 2017 and 2018 seasons, sparking major improvements on the offensive side of the ball with 29 goals scored in both the 2017 and 2018 seasons. Following the 2017 season, two forwards earned All-AAC honors. As a recruiting coordinator, Adams created strong relationships both domestically and internationally. Adams went to Houston after coaching the 2016 season at Villanova, where under her tutelage, three student-athletes were named to the Big East All-Freshman Team.


Adams enjoyed a stellar collegiate career, leading UCLA to four NCAA College Cups. She was a three-time Pac-10 Conference First Team selection, two-time Hermann Trophy semifinalist and was a finalist for the Pac-10 Player of the Year. Adams also represented the US with the U-20 and U-23 Women's National Teams while in college, earning her first cap with the Women's National Team in 2006.


Following a successful collegiate career at UCLA, Adams was selected as the sixth pick in the 2008 Women's Professional Soccer Supplemental Draft and played professionally from 2009-2010 with the Chicago Red Stars before joining the Philadelphia Independence from 2010-2012. Internationally, she played in Sweden and Turkey before joining Sky Blue FC of the NWSL from 2013-14.


In 2014-15, Adams joined the NWSL's Washington Spirit and spent time on loan with Apollon Ladies in Cyprus. Following a season with Medkila IL Harstad in Norway in 2015, Adams retired from professional soccer and transitioned into the coaching profession.


Adams earned a bachelors in sociology from UCLA.

J.J. Wozniak

J.J. Wozniak has served as the co-head coach along with Danesha Adams for the Pacific program for three seasons following a season as an assistant coach on the Tiger staff.

Wozniak joined the Pacific staff as an assistant coach in March 2020 and helped guide the team for the 2020 season, which was played in the spring of 2021.


Wozniak helped lead the Rebels to four consecutive double digit-win seasons, including one of the program's best years in 2016 when they finished 16-4-3. That year UNLV was teh Mountain West Conference Regular Season & Tournament Champions. They also played in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, that year. While at UNLV, 15 players were selected to the Mountain West All Conference teams. In 2016, the Mountain West Conference Offensive & Defensive Players of the year both came from UNLV. In addition, while J.J. was at UNLV, he was a part of the coaching staff that had the first two UNLV players ever selected as All Americans.


Wozniak has been involved in coaching soccer on either the collegiate or club level since 2000, starting out as an assistant coach and goalkeeper coach for the Fresno State men's squad. He was the top assistant at Belmont on the men's side from 2011 to February of 2014, handling numerous duties that included organizing and conducting practices, game day preparations, film analysis, travel and recruiting. Wozniak was also in charge of all summer and winter camps.


Most recently, Wozniak held the title of Director of Coaching for California Odyssey Soccer Club since March of 2014, while also serving as head coach of the U-12 Girls and U-17 Girls sides in 2014-15 and 2015-16. He first started with the program as an Assistant Director of Coaching and Director of Soccer Operations in March of 2002 before being promoted to Director of Coaching in April of 2007. Wozniak's teams saw much success, as California Odyssey was one of the original 63 clubs invited into the US Soccer National Development Academy. The program won five national championships under Wozniak's guidance while having back-to-back Development Academy National Finalists in 2009 and 2010.


Wozniak began his playing career at Saint Louis from 1992-95 before playing two more seasons at Fresno State in 1995 and 1996. He was a two-time all-region selection and earned Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Player of the Year honors in 1995. Professionally, Wozniak spent time with Major League Soccer's Los Angeles Galaxy in the fall of 1997 before transitioning to the San Jose Clash (now Earthquakes) in 1999. He spent time in the USL and USISL leagues as well, earning USISL Division 3 Goalkeeper of the Year honors in 1997 and picking up USL Division 3 Goalkeeper of the Year honors in 2001.


Wozniak holds a Bachelors in sociology from Fresno State University.

Rhianna Krutz

Rhianna Krutz, who has previously worked on the soccer staff for three Division I programs, was named to the Pacific women’s soccer staff by co-head coaches Danesha Adams and J.J. Wozniak.


Most recently, Krutz coached four seasons at her alma mater on the Illinois State staff, competing in the Missouri Valley. She joined the Redbirds in 2019, helping guide the program to a 14-6 record that year. She focused on the forward line and team defense for Illinois State and played a key role in recruiting.


Prior to Illinois State, Krutz spent the 2018 season at Valparaiso, another Missouri Valley team. She started her coaching career on the staff at Dayton, serving as the director of operations for the 2017 season. The Flyers had a 9-9-2 record in the Atlantic 10 Conference that season.


Krutz was a five-year member of the Illinois State program (2012-16), helping the Redbirds win four MVC regular-season titles and four conference tournament championships. Three times the Illinois State advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Krutz served as a team captain in 2015 and 2016.


A Des Plaines, Ill. native, she graduated from Illinois State in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation.

Adam Reeves

Adam Reeves, who was named the Pacific men's soccer program as the head coach in June of 2019, is coaching his fifth season in 2023.


In 2022, the Tigers battled injuries and finished 3-12-2 overall with a 2-4-1 WCC mark. Both WCC wins came on the road at San Francisco and Gonzaga. Ryan Her and Samuel Saiz Herraiz were named Second-Team All-WCC.


In 2021, Reeves led the Tigers to their best WCC record since 2018 with a 4-1-2 WCC record, good for second in the conference. The WCC sent two teams to the NCAA Tournament, and both teams won games in the tournament. The Tigers battled to draws with both tournament teams. The roster was highlighted by Erik Ceteno being named WCC Freshman of the Year. Along with Centeno, five other Tigers were named to various All-WCC teams at the end of the season. Ryan Her and Yazid Omri joined Centeno on the All-WCC First Team, Charles Brewah was named to the All-WCC Second Team and Eric Cotton and Mamoru Kamisasanuki were honorable mention selections. Centeno was drafted in the first round (19th overall) of the MLS draft by Atlanta United FC.


The 2020 season was played in the spring of 2021. In a COVID-19 shortened season the Tigers went 2-7 with wins over Portland and nationally ranked #20 Saint Mary's. Six of the Tigers seven losses were by one goal. The Tiger's only non-conference matchup was against #4 Stanford.


In 2019, Reeves first season with the team, Pacific went 6-10-1. With a win at San Francisco (11/10) for the first time in program history on an extra-time winner from Johnatan Rico-Contreres.


Reeves joined the Tigers after helping develop Cal Poly Pomona grow into a national powerhouse at the Division II level. After spending two seasons as the program’s associate head coach, he was then given the opportunity to be head coach in 2016. Under Reeves, the Broncos won a total of 34 games in two seasons, making back-to-back NCAA Division II Semifinal Round appearances in 2017 and 2018. Reeves and his staff won the NCAA Division II West Region Coaching Staff of the Year honors in both 2017 and 2018 as well.


Reeves originally took over a Bronco program that made the NCAA Tournament in 2015 and 2016, not missing a beat in his first season leading the program. Impressing with his skillset, he led the Broncos to a four-win improvement in 2017 that included a run to the NCAA Semifinal Round with wins over Cal Baptist, the No. 2 team in the nation in the West Region Final, and another win over No. 1 Midwestern State in the NCAA Quarterfinal.


In 2018 after graduating 10 seniors, Reeves and the Broncos made yet another run to the NCAA Semifinal, their third in four years. The Broncos won 17 games on their way to their fourth-straight NCAA Tournament. Reeves’ team would post shutouts in the first four postseason games, defeating West Texas A&M, 2-0, in the NCAA Quarterfinal.


Furthermore, Reeves guidance helped Sergi Monso earn back-to-back United Soccer Coaches All-American selections in 2017 and 2018. Additionally, Monso, Nadeer Ghantous and Luis Najera, Jr. were Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association All-Americans in 2017.


ln the classroom, Reeves held his players to a high standard as well, with his teams carrying cumulative GPAs of above 3.0 while two players were also named Scholar All-Americans in 2017.


Prior to taking the helm at Cal Poly Pomona, Reeves spent two years as the Broncos Associate Head Coach under Yossi Raz, who is currently the head coach at UC Irvine. While serving under Raz, Reeves helped the Broncos to a California Collegiate Athletic Association Championship as well as the program's first NCAA Tournament win in 2015. The Broncos reached the Division II NCAA Championship game in that season as well following a 1-0 victory over Rockhurst in the NCAA Semifinal. Reeves and the program returned to the NCAA Tournament in 2016 following a 13-win season.


Prior to working with the Broncos, Reeves spent 12 seasons as an assistant coach for his alma mater Cal State Fullerton, where he helped the Titans to a Big West Tournament Championship and an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2014. His career has also taken him to coaching stops with the LA Galaxy Development Academy, Golden State FC, Freedom Futbol Club, Mission Viejo Pateadores, Fullerton Rangers Youth Soccer Club and Irvine High School.


Reeves' playing career began at Cal State Fullerton in 1998 and 1999 before he transferred to Washington, where he helped the Huskies to multiple second round appearances in the NCAA Tournament. He earned his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Cal State Fullerton in 2003.


Reeves and his wife, Catie, met at Cal State Fullerton where she was a distance runner. The two have three children together, Gonzalo, Micah and Eleanor.

Brian Lanoye

Brian Lanoye joined the Pacific men's soccer coaching staff as an assistant and goalkeeper coach in the summer of 2019.


In his first season with the Tigers, he helped lead Pacific to its first win in program history at San Francisco while developing four All-WCC honorees and three All-Academic honorees. Lanoye worked with Pacific goalkeeper Ethan Bandre throughout the season, helping him maintain a sub-two goals against average.


Prior to joining Pacific, Lanoye served as an assistant and goalkeeper coach at UC Irvine for two years. In his time with the Anteaters, Lanoye helped lead UCI to a 11-6-4 record in 2018 en route to a Big West Conference regular season title and NCAA Tournament birth.


Lanoye reunited with Coach Reeves in Stockton after spending two successful campaigns as an assistant coach under him at Cal Poly Pomona. The Broncos reached back-to-back NCAA Division II Tournament, advancing to the West Regional Finals in 2018 and finishing as the national runner-up in 2015. In the two seasons, the program produced five All-Americans set a school record in 2016 with 11 shutouts.


Prior to his time at CPP, Lanoye spent eight seasons coaching at his alma mater, Cal State Fullerton. Lanoye began as an undergraduate assistant for the Titans in 2006 was promoted to graduate assistant and goalkeeper coach in 2010. The Titans earned a Big West Tournament title in 2014 and tied the school record that year with nine shutouts.


Lanoye earned a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology in 2010 before returning to earn his Master's in Kinesiology and Sport Psychology in 2013.
