Caitlin Pickul

Caitlin Pickul Named Head Soccer Coach at Wellesley College (May 5, 2022)


A former assistant for the Blue, Caitlin Pickul returned to Wellesley in 2022 following a two-year stint as Head Coach at Division III Nichols College. In her first season in charge of the Blue, Pickul posted a 6-7-3 record.


Pickul's first season at the helm of the Nichols program was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Bison returned to the field in 2021, posting a record of 4-12-1 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC). While at Nichols, Pickul was also the supervisor of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).


Prior to her time at Nichols, Pickul spent four seasons at the College of Holy Cross, from 2016-2020. Pickul joined the Division I program as an Assistant Coach before taking over the responsibilities of Associate Head Coach. Prior to her departure to Nichols, Pickul was the Interim Head Coach of the Crusaders. In 2019, the Holy Cross coaching staff was named the Patriot League Coaching Staff of the Year after the Crusaders posted a program-best record of 5-4-8 overall while finishing second in the conference with a 3-1-5 mark.


Pickul was an assistant for the Blue under Head Coach Tony Mohammed from 2011-2016, while also working as the Assistant Director of Strength & Conditioning. After posting a combined record of 11-22-6 during her first two seasons with the team, the Blue posted a 25-21-12 record over her final three seasons. In addition to her responsibilities with the soccer program, Pickul taught Couch to 5k in the Physical Education curriculum and was a game manager for events.


Prior to Wellesley, Pickul started her coaching career as a goalkeeper coach at North Andover High School in 2007 and SF Vikings Club Program in 2008 and before serving as an assistant coach and goalie coach at Salem State University in 2010. She is currently Club Director for Best FC Soccer Club, where she has also been a Head Coach and Director of High School Goalkeeping since 2016. She is also an Assistant Goalkeeper Coach with the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program.


A 2006 graduate of Providence College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, Pickul was a four-time Big East All-Academic honoree as a member of the Friar women's soccer team as a goalkeeper. She is a United States Soccer Federation Licensed Coach and an NSCAA Level 1 Goalkeeper Coach as well as an NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and an NSPA Certified Sports Nutrition Coach. She received her Master of Business Administration degree in Sports Management at Loyola University Chicago in 2010.

Erinn Ring

Wellesley Soccer Welcomes Erinn Ring as Assistant Coach


Erinn Ring join Wellesley College Athletics as an Assistant Soccer Coach in January 2023.


Ring joins the Blue having previously been a Women's Soccer Assistant Coach at Nichols College in Dudley, Mass. for two years, which included working with Coach Pickul during the 2021 season. Ring also currently serves as the Registrar for FC Stars in Acton, Mass. Ring previously worked as the Head Coach of the junior varsity girls soccer team for Uxbridge High School from 2019-2021, an Assistant Soccer Coach for Global Premier Soccer in Southboro, Mass. in 2019, and was the Head Coach of the Scorpions Soccer Club in Hopkinton, Mass. from 2011-13.


Additionally, Ring has experience working as a Personal Trainer at Gold's Gym in Milford, Mass. from 2019-2021 as well as Get in Shape for Women in Westborough, Mass. from 2011-2013. Ring worked as a Customer Service Representative at National Grid from 2019-2020, a Supervisor in Customer Services for the United States Post Office in 2019, and as a Field Recruiter/Staffing Specialist at the United States Post Office from 2016-2019.


Ring graduated from Colby-Sawyer College in New London, N.H., where she received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science in 2011. During her time at Colby-Sawyer, Ring was also a four-year soccer player for the Chargers. Ring went on to receive her Master of Art in Criminal Justice from Southern New Hampshire University in 2016, and is currently pursuing her Master of Art in Sport Management from SNHU.

Tom Faltus

Tom Faltus joined Wellesley soccer as a Goalkeeper Coach in September 2023.


Faltus comes to Wellesley after working as a Goalkeeper Coach at Millis Public Schools. Faltus assisted with both the boys and girls teams at the middle school, junior varisty, and varsity level while in Millis, and helped with the recruitment of athletics. Additionally, Faltus has worked as a Soccer Coach at Challenger Sports in Providence, R.I. for the past two years, where he has helped athletes of all ages develop soccer skills, provided drills and games for parent coaches to use during practices, and directed full day soccer camps for vacations and summer breaks.


Aside from soccer, Faltus previously worked as a Paraprofessional and a Physical Education Teacher during his time in Millis. Prior to this, he worked as a Physical Therapy Aide at Physical Therapy of Cumberland in Cumberland, R.I.


Faltus graduated from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn. in 2020 with degree in Exercise Science. In 2011, Faltus represented New England in the Little League World Series. He went on to be a high school soccer, tennis, and baseball athlete and was the starting goalie for the varsity soccer team at Bishop Hendricken High School in Warwick, R.I.
