• MS Rush Spring Classic Older Weekend (U12-U19)

      Thank you to everyone who attended the 2017 MS Rush Spring Classic. We hope to see each of you next year at the 2018 MS Rush Spring Classic.
      April 7-8, 2018 U12-U19 (11v11) Boys and Girls AND U9-U10 7v7 Rec-Plus/Division 2 teams
      April 14-15, 2018 U10-U12 Boys and Girls - all 9v9 play
      Registration will open December 1, 2017. 
       
       
      We are pleased to invite YOUR team to apply to the 2018 MS Rush Spring Classic Older weekend. Play for U12-U19 teams who wish to play 11v11 will be held in the Jackson Metro Area, April 7-8, 2018. Only local teams may be scheduled to play Friday night. 
       
      **U9-U10 7v7 play will also be this weekend for Rec-Plus/Division 2 teams due to MSA holding district tournaments for recreational players on April 14-15. U10 teams wishing to play 9v9, should apply for the April 14-15 weekend. **

      **Please note this tournament is held over two weekends. Older teams U12-U18 will play April 7-8 for 11v11 play and U9-U10 teams wishing to play 7v7 will play April 7-8 also.  U10-U12 9v9 teams will play April 14-15,2018. U12 teams wishing to play 11v11, should apply for the older weekend. Please visit www.msrushspringclassicacademy.com for team registration for the younger U10-U12 9v9 weekend. **

      This tournament will be unrestricted and sanctioned by both US Youth Soccer (Mississippi Soccer Association), and US Club Soccer.

      Preliminary Schedules for the weekend will be posted by Monday, April 2 at noon.  An email will go out to all coaches and managers at that time.

      • Schedule timeline

        Preliminary schedules for the weekend will be posted by Monday, April 2 at noon. An email will go out to all coaches and managers at that time. No special schedule requests will be accepted after March 20. Should you wish to include something not listed on your original application, please email msrushspringclassic@aol.com 
      • Online checkin

        Online checkin is optional and will open December 1, 2017. And must be started by Thursday, April 5 at 5:00pm EST and completed by Friday, April 6 at 4:00p EST. Once you pay the $20 fee associated with online checkin, it cannot be refunded. 
      • From our Trainers

        Trainers from MS Sports Medicine will be onsite at the JFC Complex and Freedom Ridge Park only. Please remember that the primary job of our trainers at the tournament is to treat "In Game" injuries, and they have to be available and on call to do that. Ankle pre-wraps etc. are on a best efforts basis only. The trainer will do prewraps if he/she has time and are not dealing with an injury. In order to get prewrapped, players need to bring their own tape and wrap materials.
      • Parking Charge

        There is a $5 parking charge at the JFC complex for the weekend for cars and $25 for RVs. Please notify your parents. The pass is good for all weekend at all complexes. 
    • Application Info for Older Weekend
      The online application system will open on December 1, 2017.  Applications will be accepted from December 1, 2017 until March 20, 2018. After March 20 teams will be wait-listed and accepted on an as needed basis.  Every effort will be made to accommodate coaching conflicts as long as it is noted on your application or communicated to the tournament director at msrushspringclassic@aol.com  by March 20, 2018. Make plans to attend this premier event.
