- What is the WFT Play Zone?
  
  Welcome to WFT Play Zone where kids can be kids and can play the game they love, uninhibited. The WFT 3v3 game has been proven to be a very natural approach to developing a higher Soccer IQ and enhanced foot skills. Whereas, many players live in soccer communites that will only have 1-2 tournaments within 1-2 hours, offering players a 6-week period to get in more games during the week will add 12-30 WFT 3v3 games to their summer soccer activities.
  The Play Zone is for the individual player who loves to play the game for the sake of the game and not necessarily who they are playing with. Both 3v3 League and Open Play sessions are solely based on individual registrations.
  
  The WFT will use the 2016 summer Play Zone season to gauge interest and listen to feedback (from the kids) in order to launch the official Play Zone in the fall of 2016 knowing where the improvements need to be.
- 3v3 Leagues & Open Play
  
  WFT 3v3 League
  
  WFT League play is focused on the individual player, but in a simulated WFT 3v3 game environment: 2x10 min halves, referees. Players will be placed in a player pool for the season based on skill/age/gender. From week to week, they will be rotated challenging them to focus on their ability to interact with different players while growing their own skillset.

  WFT Open Play
  
  WFT Open Play is also focused on the individual, but in a less structured WFT 3v3 game setting. Based on the players in attendance, the WFT staff will organize players into smaller pools to play on a specific field. They will play mini-games of 15 minutes with the winning team being rewarded by staying on the field for another game (no more than 2 games in a row). In this setting, the WFT staff may challenge a younger player who possesses a high Soccer IQ and skillset for his/her age and place them in an older pool.

- Match Count Rating System
  
  Fact #1: Every time a player plays a WFT 3v3 game, he/she improves their Soccer IQ and foot skills.
  Fact #2: Playing hundreds of WFT 3v3 games will provide players with thousands and thousands of extra touches and decision making situations.
  Fact #3: When a player becomes the master of the ball with a high Soccer IQ, the beautiful game will open itself up to the player.
  
  With the introduction of the WFT Match Count Player Rating System in Season 8, players will be rewarded for their efforts as they climb the ladder of futbol proficiency by playing WFT 3v3 games. This summer players in some markets, will have the chance to play 10-12 games each week (see sample weekly below). Players who played in previous seasons, will be able to grandfather in the match count for games played in Season 4-6. (More Details coming....)
