INTERNATIONAL TEAMS
COMING TO CHARLESTON

In the fall of 2012, the WFT developed relationships with the 2-year old 3v3 Norge (Norway) tour and Futbol 3v3 Wanchope CR (Costa Rica), a WFT Partner growing new 3v3 events in CR,  it hopes will result in youth teams traveling to the US for our WFT World Cup IV. Since then, the WFT has made additional contacts in Mexico and Brazil exploring opportunities to bring teams from those futbol rich nations as well.

The WFT International Program will focus on several things:

  1. The cultural immersion of players from different nations into homes of local families in Charleston with players of the same age.
  2. Friendships grown from this cultural interaction.
  3. Exposing players to different soccer styles and cultures
  4. Sharing training methods between local and international coaches

The WFT is still in its infancy and we are very grateful for the opportunity to serve so many wonderful youth futbolers in the US and now from other futbol nations.
