2013 Patriot Cup Tournament Updates

August 27, 2013

Welcome New & Returning FPYC Patriot Cup Teams!

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for playing in the 35th annual FPYC Patriot Cup!  As many of you know, hosting a travel tournament is no small undertaking.  Ensuring that every team has the very best experience possible is the mission of the FPYC Tournament Committee.  Just about three weeks ago David Shade, long time FPYC Soccer Tournament Director stepped away from FPYC Soccer.  Over the past three weeks the FPYC Tournament Committee has picked up the pieces, and Debi Honaker has become the FPYC Soccer Director of Tournaments.

Debi has assumed full responsibility and control over all FPYC Soccer tournaments and is being supported by the FPYC Soccer Tournament Committee.  This is Debi’s second stint running FPYC tournaments and I know that she is more than capable of making the upcoming Patriot Cup the very best tournament it can be.

Please note that if you have any questions, comments and or issues please direct them to Debi Honaker.  Debi’s phone number is 703-725-2390, and email address is administrator@fpycsports.com.

Thanks for participating in the 2013 FPYC Patriot Cup!  Please note that the FPYC Soccer Tournament Committee will be out and about this weekend visiting every tournament site.  We’ll be the one’s in the black polo shirts so if you see us please stop us and let us know how we’re doing!

Sincerely,

Tony DeFlumeri

Please be aware that all teams MUST check-in at Team Registration on Thursday, August 29th, between 7:00 and 9:00 pm at the FPYC Clubhouse.  (Driving directions are below.)

We will hold a make-up Team Registration on Friday, August 30th, same time, same location - but - someone must register the team on one of these nights (no exceptions).  Remember - registration can be made by any team designee!

Documents required at Team Registration are:  1) official VYSA league and tournament roster for the 2013-14 season, plus two black and white copies (be sure to copy both sides of the roster onto one sheet), 2) a pass for each player who will participate with your team, including Guest players, as well as all rostered adults, and 3) a medical release form for each player.  We will also need a contact and cell number for the team, so be sure to bring that information if that person is someone other than the one registering the team.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to phone Debi Honaker at 703-725-2390.

Directions:
