We are looking forward to hosting old and new soccer friends alike for the 2015 Pensacola Classic.  Make plans to join teams from across the southeast for a fantastic weekend of soccer action.  An annual tradition, the Pensacola Classic provides a perfect opportunity to kick off your spring season. 

With average highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s, Pensacola is a great winter destination.  For those interested in a little surf and sand to go with their soccer, beach hotel rates are very reasonable during the winter months. 

  • Guaranteed 3 games
  • Match Lengths (all games)
    • U10 - 25 minute halves          Application Fee:  $350
    • U11-U12 - 30 minute halves    Application Fee:  $450
    • U13-U15 - 30 minute halves    Application Fee:  $500
    • U16-U19 - 35 minute halves    Application Fee:  $550
  • Awards for Champions and Finalists in each Age Group/Division
  • Multiple flights/age group based on competitive level (if sufficient teams in age group)

There are a few important items that we want to make sure you are aware of before applying:

  • The Pensacola Classic, sanctioned by the Florida Youth Soccer Association, is an unrestricted tournament. Teams affiliated with any USSF member may apply to participate in the event. Approved Hosting agreement will be posted when received.  Approval Pending.
  • The  Pensacola Classic is a Stay to Play Tournament. All teams/players staying overnight are expected to book any hotel reservations through HBC Event Travel to ensure their place in the event. Tournament reservations can be made through the HBC hosted site at [coming soon] 
  • There will also be an parking fee of $5/vehicle/weekend.

STAY-TO-PLAY POLICY
 
This is a STAY TO PLAY tournament.  All non-commuting teams participating in the tournament MUST (as a condition of acceptance) make all hotel accommodations using our tournament housing services.  Please do not call the hotels directly and book through the hotel reservation link below.  We appreciate your support as these partnered hotels assist in sponsoring our event. 
 
Gulf Coast Texans  is proud to partner with HBC Event Travel Services, a travel/booking agency with a nationwide reputation for excellence in managing travel for sports events.  HBC Event Travel Services provides an easy way for you to book your hotel rooms with our partnered hotels at the best rates.  These rates are always the same, if not lower than, their best available rate and usually includes breakfast for your team.  HBC Event Travel Services guarantees that if the tournament is cancelled due to weather, you will not be charged for any cancellation penalties that you may otherwise have been subject to if you made your reservation elsewhere.  This guarantee does not include hotel reservations made after the hotel cut off dates.

Online Check-in is now available for this event.

What is Online Check-in?

Online Check-in eliminates the need for your team to show up in person before your first game by allowing you to complete the check-in process online. You will be required to upload .pdf files or images to the secure sincSports cloud. The event will determine which documents are required.

There is a $20 non-refundable fee. You must scan documents or take digital photos to complete this process. We will help you through the rest! Please click the link below to begin:

Team Check-In

Check-in will be held from 6PM to 9:30PM on Friday, February 13, 2015 at a local venue (hotel/restaurant) that will be announced closer to the event. Saturday check-in will also available. We ask that you check-in at the fields where your team will play its first game no later than 1 hour before your first game or Noon on Saturday, whichever is EARLIER. The Noon cutoff will allow our volunteers to assist with other tournament related duties.

Bring the following required items to check-in:

1. Three (3) computer generated rosters with uniform numbers written in (USYSA or US Club) (2 copies for club to keep).

2. Laminated players passes

3. Medical Release forms

4. Guest player forms (completed) (club to keep for records)

5. "Permission to Travel" from state association if traveling from outside of Florida (USYSA only)

If you are on Hwy 29, you would take Ten Mile Rd east. Pass one 4-way stop sign, and approximately 3/4 mile on the left is Ashton Brosnaham Rd. Turn left here, and the fields are on the left.

 

From nine mile Rd Turn north onto Chemstrand (Gulf Winds Federal Credit Union).  Go one mile to the next light at 10 Mile Rd. Turn Left (west) and turn right on to Ashton Brosnaham Rd just past the MacArthur Elementary School. Fields will be on the left.
