Yes - u10s, u11s and u12!

Lots of Fun for Everyone . . . U12s will be the ‘big dogs’ as u10 and u11 Academy teams now included!

The Tournament Committee is excited to announce that the tournament, previously for Georgia teams only, will now be open to all u10 and u11 Academy teams from Alabama, South Carolina and Tennessee.

The success, format and festive atmosphere of the Academy Cup have helped propel this end-of-season tournament into a much anticipated event each year. The time has come to let the rest of the Georgia Soccer Academy teams have some fun too!

Games will be played the weekend of May 11-12, with all teams playing a minimum of 3 games. Teams advancing out of the round-robin will play their Championship match on Sunday afternoon, May 12.

All the usual fun and festivities will be available for players, fans, brothers and sisters. And, the coaches can take time to visit and connect as well. It’s fun, its fast, it competitive and relaxed – all at the same time.

'Night of Champions' at the Atlanta Silverbacks on May 25!

The finals were very competitive and, as usual, the last match went to extra time and a shootout! We hope that you and your team enjoyed the tournament. Have a great summer and we will see you back on the fields in the fall!

SATURDAY UPDATES:
There were some great matches today and everyone is getting ready for even better tomorrow as teams battle to see who will advance into the semis. We hope that you enjoyed the day and look forward to seeing you at the fields tomorrow. Remember, tomorrow is Mother's Day . . . so be extra sweet to your Mom!

6:30 am - The Park is open and ready to go. Have a great day, be prepared for possible showers in the afternoon, have fun and play safe! See you at N. Mount Carmel Park!

FRIDAY UPDATES:

5.10 - As you can see from the forecast, we are expecting some rain tomorrow. All venues are ready and prepared to play in the rain. If there is severe weather - thunder and lightning - all games will stop and the fields will be cleared until the severe weather is gone. At that time, the games will resume.

If the venue is unable to open on Saturday morning (which we do not expect) we will post on the homepage and email the coach/manager. If the venue is open, your team will need to be at the venue ready to play at your designated start times. Once the venue is open, you will receive weather updates at the field.

We can only go by what information we have at any time and for now it appears that all games will play, with maybe some minor delays. Please be prepared for rain but let's keep our fingers crossed it misses us. Good luck to everyone and we hope that you enjoy the weekend.

4.19 - Accepted teams are now posted. We need a few teams to fill in. If you would like to participate, please go to the APPLY tab and complete an application.
