Dates

Eligibility
The Academy Cup is open to U10, U11, and U12 teams, registered and in good standing with Georgia Soccer. U10 teams will play 6v6, U11 teams will play 8v8, and U12 teams will play either 8v8 or 11v11.
Divisions
Teams will be grouped to make the most competitive divisions possible. The Academy Cup Committee determines final placement. The Committee will use many factors to place teams into groups including game and tournament results, coach recommendations and level of team submitted on application.
Players and Teams
All teams and players must be registered with Georgia Soccer. A valid Georgia Soccer roster and player cards for each player, along with an official Tournament Roster, are required to participate. Tournament rosters will be formed from players in a league or club Academy and will be frozen at the pre-tournament coaches meeting. A player may play for only one team during the tournament.
Guest Players
Teams will be allowed to use up to 2 guest players for their teams if they are in need of players. The guest players must be from a registered Georgia Soccer team in the same league as the team for which they are guest playing.
Format
U10 teams will play 6v6 (maximum roster size 12) or 8v8 (maximum roster size 14)
U11 teams will play 8v8 (maximum roster size 14)
U12 teams will play 8v8 (maximum roster size 14) or 11v11 (maximum roster size 18)
Awards
Individual awards for 1st and 2nd place teams in each competitive age division.

On-line registration:
On-line registrations are quick and easy. On-line registrations may be paid by check or credit card. If a team withdraws prior to the close of entries, their entry fee will be refunded minus a $50.00 administrative fee. Once entries close, there will be no refunds of entry fees.
If the tournament is cancelled due to weather or Acts of God, approximately one-half of the entry fee will be refunded.
