ü Tournament Costs

ü Application Deadline?
o Boys and Girls Shootout September 9th , 2011
o Boys and Girls College Showcase September 16th , 2011

ü When will we know if we’ve been accepted?
o CASL will employ a ‘rolling’ acceptance policy throughout the time until the application deadline. With the continued rise in energy and travel costs we recognize the need to accommodate our guests. We will notify teams individually with an acceptance invitation. Once you have received your acceptance invitation you will have TWO weeks to make you payment.
o The final acceptance lists will be posted on the CASL website no later than 9/19/2011 for the Shootout events, and no later than 9/26/2011 for the College Showcase events.
ü What is your payment policy?
o Each team will be required to make payment within TWO WEEKS of receiving your acceptance invitation! You will have the option of paying through the website with a credit card (Visa, MC, and Discover only) or you can mail in a team check.
o If we have not received your payment within two weeks after acceptance your application will be pulled and offered to another team.
ü Are tickets to the ACC event included in our registration fee?
o No, this year ACC tickets will be the responsibility of each team. CASL will have a link for each team to purchase their tickets. Tickets will be sold through our website at www.caslnc.com.
ü May we arrange our own hotels?
o No, the CASL housing agent, Partners in Team Travel, www.partnersinteamtravel.com, will arrange hotels for all teams. They will receive updated lists weekly of the teams that have been granted early acceptance, and a final list after the deadline.
o Accepted Teams MUST use utilize CASL’s Housing agent. Any teams that do not use PITT will be disqualified from the tournament and the team fee will not be returned.
ü Will U12 play 8v8, or 11v11?
o We will offer both 8v8 and 11v11 divisions in the U12 age group. If we do not receive enough applicants for 11v11, teams will be moved up to the U13 divisions.
ü Where will we be playing?(subject to change)

ü What is the game format?
o U10 through U14 Boys and Girls will play standard tournament format with group play followed by a championship match. All teams are guaranteed three games. Champions and Finalists receive awards.
o U15 through U19 Boys and Girls will all play Showcase Format, with 3 games total and no championships.
ü What time will our last game be on Sunday?
o No Championship games would kick off later than 2 PM Sunday. Factoring in potential OT situations, all matches should be complete by 5 PM at the latest. The tournament will make every effort to get our guests to their destinations at the earliest possible time.
ü I would like to be a referee during the events?
o If you would like to register as a referee, please contact Ralph Jordan at ralphj@caslemail.com He is the referee assignor for all tournaments.
ü When is Team registration for the tournament?
o Team registration for the tournament will be held the night before games kick off. All teams are REQUIRED to have a team representative arrive to check in each team; it can be anyone that has the appropriate documentation with them. This is Mandatory! We do not have the ability to check in teams the next day as our staffs are busy with other responsibilities. Some teams in the past have paid to fly/drive someone in early.
ü I am Coaching more than one team during the tournament…Can you handle scheduling conflicts?
o Yes, we can handle Scheduling conflicts but only for two teams during the Shootout tournaments. We can try to accommodate three teams during the Showcase weekends, but we do not guarantee it.
ü My team is not playing in the tournament but I would like to be a guest player with another team.
o We will have online registration for guest players along with details on how to register up on the website. All Guest players will go through the website and teams will be able to locate guest players on the website.
