1. Is there a Friday night check-in?

No. By submitting your Registrar Certification Form with your application there is no team registration or check-in on Saturday morning.

2. What do I need to bring to the matches?

Your laminated player passes (NO PASS, NO PLAY), a stamped-match roster for EACH MATCH (a copy of the stamped match roster is okay), and you should always have in your possession, your notarized Medical Liability Forms.

3. Who pays for the referees?

NCYSA is responsible for paying for the officials at the Preliminary games and Final Four weekend. Any teams involved in play-ins, will pay the referees just as they would in a regular season Classic match.

4. When will team names be entered into the schedule?

Not until the week of April 20-23. We must wait until the conclusion of the Classic Regular season and all play-in matches. (However, most teams know where they're going to be seeded!)

5. We've had a person ejected from our match. What do we do?

A player ejected from a match must go (or will be escorted) to an area designated by the Tournament Committee (usually the HQ area) until the match is completed.

An adult (parent, coach, assistant, etc.) must COMPLETELY leave the complex and is not allowed to return until the completion of that team's next match. Failure to do so in a timely manner can cause for further sanctions against the individual and the team.

6. Our (ejected) Coach is rostered to several teams. Does that mean they can't coach for ANY team until our team plays again?

The coach must leave the complex completely until the team he was ejected with completes that match. At that point, they may coach another team. However, they cannot be within "site or sound" of (the ejected) team's next match. It could be a "gray area" that will be further handled and defined by the Tournament Committee if there is a question.

Of course, we don't expect any adult to be crass enough to warrant an ejection!
