The Tournament Committee is planning schedules with a maximum number
of eight teams at each competitive level in any age group. If any group has fewer applicants
than that number, the number of participating teams in another group may be increased.
Maximum numbers of players on a team's offical roster is 12,for U9-U10 .WILL PLAY 7V7
Maximum numbers of players on a team's offical roster is 14,for U11-U12. WILL PLAY 9V9
Maximum number of players on a team’s official roster is 22,for U13-U19 .(Only 18 May Dress for Each Game )
Players may participate on only one team in this tournament.
3 GUEST PLAYERS ALLOWED
Age groups will play based on 2016 (player passes are based on Fall 2016)
Under 9/10: Born Jan. 1, 2007 or later
Under 11: Born Jan. 1, 2006 or later
Under 12: Born Jan. 1, 2005 or later
Under 13: Born Jan. 1, 2004 or later
Under 14: Born Jan. 1, 2003 or later
Under 15: Born Jan. 1, 2002 or later
Under 16: Born Jan. 1, 2001 or later
Under 17: Born Jan. 1, 2000 or later
Under 19: Born Jan. 1, 1998 or later
All teams are guaranteed a minimum of three games. Divisions will be comprised of the following whenever possible:
Most Competitive (Gold)
Competitive (Silver)
Intermediate (Bronze)
The tournament committee reserves the option to combine groupings as necessary.
Entry fee for the 2016 Invitational is for
U9/U10: $450
U11/U12: $475
U13/U14: $550
U15/U19: $575
DEADLINE Monday AUGUST 8th at noon.
The Athens 41st Invitational is a USYSA/US Club Soccer sanctioned tournament.
All teams MUST be affiliated with USYSA or US Club Soccer.
Current (2016-2017 seasonal year) validated player passes must be presented at check in.
Out of state teams are required to have a travel authorization on the appropriate form,
approved by the home state association.
We look forward to an exciting tournament with participation by teams from several states.
