Inclement Weather
Only the referee or the tournament committee may cancel a match due to weather conditions. In the event of inclement weather the tournament committee has the authority to reschedule matches and/or cancel the tournament.

1. If inclement weather causes the referee to stop the match at any time and conditions do not permit the restart of the match within the scheduled time, the score will stand, as it was at the time the game was stopped.

2. If a match is delayed from starting due to weather conditions, it will be started as soon as weather permits within the scheduled time frame and will conclude at the scheduled time.

3. If no portion of the match is played, best efforts will be made to reschedule the match though no such guarantee is made.

4. If there is a cancellation or abandonment of the entire tournament then the tournament committee will consider possible refunds for teams based upon the number of games played by the team at the point in the tournament at which it as canceled, however there is no guarantee that any tournament entry fees will be refunded.

B. Stop and Restart of play

Should there be lightning or other inclement weather in the area that causes a stoppage in play, a long blast from an air-horn will signal that all play should stop immediately and players and spectators should proceed to their cars for safety.

Once it is safe to resume play, two short blasts will signal that games will restart within 5 minutes of the horn sounding.
In the event that bad weather does delay a game, the game will be restarted at the point at which it was suspended as soon as possible assuming the weather is no longer dangerous. In order to ensure that as many games as possible are played to schedule though, the restarted game will not extend beyond a time 70 minutes after the original scheduled kickoff time for U9 and U10 games, or 80 minutes for U11 and U12 games, or 90 minutes for 11 v 11 play.

In the event that the scheduled restart time is beyond the described duration described above, the game will be declared completed to the moment the game was suspended, with the score at the time of suspension counting as the official final score.

In the event that the game can be restarted before the above described period has elapsed, but the restart time does not allow for the completion of the entire game, the game will be restarted at the point of suspension playing through to end of the period outlined above. Once the game reaches this point, the game will be declared complete, with the score at the end of this duration counting as the official final score.

The tournament directors also reserve the right to shorten subsequent games, or declare games as a 0-0 tie following a weather delay in an attempt to return to the original game schedule. In the event that the score is tied in a final game, the tournament reserves the right to declare a joint champion.
