Jennifer Myhre

Jennifer Myhre enters the 2024-25 season in her 14th season as the Ravens’ women's soccer coach.

Over the past years, Myhre has elevated the team and their impact on and off the field. During the 2022 season the Ravens had their best conference finish since 2000, finishing third with 10-4-4 and a conference record of 6-2-1. The team made it to the conference semifinals, where they went to OT & PK’s to the eventual conference winners. The Ravens have secured a spot in the Conference Playoffs five times during the past six years and set numerous program records. In 2019 the Ravens received their first United Soccer Coaches regional rankings and had the fewest losses. The 2017 campaign saw the team go 10-4-3, giving up the least goals against, and included a bid into the HCAC tournament, the first since 2003. In recognition for the team’s continual growth and improvement, Myhre was named the 2017 HCAC Coach of the Year.

Off the field, Myhre has fostered a close-knit family, where the team serves one another in love and strives to be champions in all areas of life. The team has consistently received the NSCAA Team Academic Award, often leading the conference with HCAC All-Academic Team selections. Under Myhre’s leadership, the Ravens have had student-athletes receive United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-Region and All-Region honors.

Previously, Myhre was an assistant women’s soccer coach at Carnegie Mellon University. She also served at Luther College as an assistant women’s soccer coach and special assistant to the athletic director through the NCAA Division III Ethnic Minority and Women’s Internship Grant program. Outside the college game, Myhre was an assistant coach at Northern York (PA) High School and involved with PA West ODP. She has also served as a coach with Impact SC, Hoosier FC, FCA and with Athletes in Action.

Myhre graduated Summa Cum Laude from Messiah College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports and Exercise Science, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She then received her Master’s degree in Education through the Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership program at the University of Washington.

During her years at Messiah, the Falcons went to four straight NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Final Four. They captured the NCAA Division III National Championship in 2005, were second place in 2007 and semifinalists in 2004 and 2006. In addition, Myhre won three MAC Commonwealth Championships (2004, 2005, 2007) and achieved an overall career record of 83-5-4.

As a student-athlete, Myhre was elected president of Messiah's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and Middle Atlantic States Collegiate Athletic Corporation’s SAAC.

Myhre has obtained the United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma and has a USSF “C” coaching license. She is a graduate of the NCAA Women's Coaches Academy, WCA 2.0, & SWA Program. She also attended NACWAA HERS, and was selected as one of the 2015 recipients of the United Soccer Coaches (NSCAA) 30-Under-30 program.

Additionally, Myhre serves as the Assistant Athletic Director, Senior Woman Administrator and SAAC Advisor.
