Cayleb Paulino

AT ASHLAND UNIVERSITY

Paulino (49-6-10 overall) led AU women's soccer to one of the best seasons in program history in 2023, finishing 19-1-4 overall and 11-0-3 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. The Eagles were the top-ranked team in NCAA Division II for six weeks, and they won two D-II postseason games at home.

He was named 2023 Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association Women's Coach of the Year, and led the 2023 United Soccer Coaches D-II Midwest Region Staff of the Year.

In 2022, Eagle women's soccer once again won the Great Midwest Tournament and made the D-II playoffs. Ashland finished 15-3-3 overall and 11-1-2 in the conference.

Paulino's first season guiding the Ashland University women's soccer team was a success - a 15-2-3 record, Great Midwest titles in both the regular season and the tournament, and home game in the NCAA Division II postseason.

BEFORE ASHLAND UNIVERSITY

Paulino had been an assistant women's soccer coach at Ohio Northern since December of 2018, helping the Polar Bears to Ohio Athletic Conference titles in 2019 (regular season and tournament) and 2020 (regular season). In 2019, he was on the staff named Great Lakes Regional Staff of the Year, OAC Coaches of the Year and All-Ohio Coaches of the Year.

Prior to that, Paulino was an assistant men's soccer coach at ONU from 2015-18, and an assistant for both soccer programs at Defiance from 2012-14.

PERSONAL

Paulino is a 2011 graduate from Wilmington College, and earned his master's from Defiance in 2013.
