Jamieson Brooks

Coach Brooks comes to Baptist Bible College with solid coaching experience. He will officially become the Head Coach for both Men and Women’s Soccer at BBC in August, 2023. The Women's program will officially kick off Fall 2024. He will be an Adjunct Professor on campus in the Business Department. Originally from Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada, he began his experience as an Assistant Coach at his alma mater of Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia, Canada (August 2016 to January 2018). While there, the team accumulated a 31-24-8 record. The Spartans earned a Canada West silver medal in 2017 after having earned a bronze medal in 2016. Brooks then came to the United States to be an Assistant Coach of the Women’s soccer program at St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, Florida, in August of 2018. The NAIA Lady Bobcats were bolstered by his knowledge and experience where he helped lead the Lady Bobcats to a 24-19-8 record over three seasons within the Sun Conference. In 2019, the team made it to the semifinal round of the Sun Conference Tournament. In August 2020, Coach Brooks was promoted to Head Junior Varsity Coach where he eventually departed from that position in April 2021 for further opportunities. He then worked at IBT College in North York, Ontario, Canada, as an Instructor in the Business Management & Entrepreneurship program.


Coach Brooks began his higher educational experience by earning his Bachelor’s Degree from Trinity Western University in Human Kinetics; Sport & Leisure Management, April 2011. Coach Brooks then earned a Master of Arts in Leadership; Business by July 2015, also at Trinity Western University, Langley, BC, Canada. He received his Doctorate Degree: Business Administration; Sports Administration at St. Thomas University, Miami Gardens, Florida, this past May, 2023.


While in college, 2011-2016, Coach Brooks worked for the Vancouver Whitecaps FC in Major League Soccer (MLS) in communications, sales/service, and soccer development departments. He is a member of North American Society of Sports Management (NASSM) and the Sports Marketing Association (SMA).


In his free time, Coach Brooks is an avid Toronto Professional Sports fan. He also is an English Premier League (EPL) soccer fan. He enjoys movies and television, especially if they involve Marvel, DC, or Star Wars. And he does enjoy podcasts.
