Teren Schuster

Head coach Teren Schuster was hired to lead the Briar Cliff men's soccer program in December of 2021.

Schuster comes to the Cliff from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he has served as an assistant coach since the 2019 season. In three seasons as a member of the Wolves’ coaching staff, Schuster helped the team win two regular season and two conference tournament championships. Schuster and the Wolves accumulated a 39-12-4 record in the past three seasons with two NAIA National Tournament appearances.

Schuster’s responsibilities at Cardinal Stritch included opponent scouting and recruiting. He was named the director of recruiting for the Wolves in 2020.

While in Wisconsin, Schuster spent six years as a youth staff coach at FC Wisconsin in Germantown, where he led player development training sessions. FC Wisconsin cracked the SoccerWire Top-100 Club rankings in May of 2021. Schuster stepped into the Youth Director role at FC Wisconsin in July and was responsible for managing rosters for league games, leading training sessions and organizing the FC Wisconsin Minis program.

Schuster’s mother, Samitra Schuster, was a member of the Briar Cliff soccer team during the 1995-1999 seasons. His stepfather is a 1995 BC graduate.

Schuster earned a bachelor’s degree in sport’s management from Cardinal Stritch.
