Enda Crehan

Enda Crehan enters his fourth season as head coach of the Christian Brothers University men's soccer team. He was named Head Men's Soccer Coach in May of 2020. Crehan comes to CBU after spending three seasons as the head coach at Ferrum College (Va.).


In his third season, Crehan helped guide the Bucs to their first Gulf South Conference championship since 2012, and their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2014. He had four players named to the All-Tournament team, including Max Klink, who was named most outstanding player.


Since being at CBU, he has had five players selected for All-GSC honors, six players be Academic All-GSC, six All-Region players, had a Gulf South Conference player of the year and a scholar athlete award recipient. Chrehan has also sent four differnt Bucs into professional soccer all across the world.


The Newbridge, Galway, Ireland native has over 100 victories as a head coach, but his teams have also excelled off the pitch. His 2019 team, at Ferrum, earned the highest GPA (3.19) of all FC men's teams. He has also coached five Academic All-Americans, five academic all-conference members and the 2015 NSCAA NJCAA Student-Athlete of the Year, Elias Tamburini, who is a professional player in Iceland.

David Brown

Dave Brown enters his first season as a Graduate Assistant for the Christian Brothers University men's soccer team. Brown arrives at CBU from Oklahoma City after graduating from Southwestern Christian University with a Bachelor’s degree in PE, Health and Sport Management. During his time at Southwestern Christian, he was apart of the conference winning team during the Spring season of 2021. He later went on to be become assistant coach until he graduated in May of 2023.


Brown started his time in the United States at Lassen Community College in Susanville, Calif., where his team won the Gold Valley Conference in 2017. He went on to transfer to Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma.


While in Oklahoma, Brown was apart of the boys coaching staff of Puntnam City HS and Piedmont HS, where he was overseeing the development and improvement of the JV team while assisting with the varsity team at both programs. Brown started his club coaching at Oklahoma Rangers FC having numerous teams from academy to competitive. He currently holds his US Soccer National D Coaching License.


Before moving to the United States, the Cardiff, Wales native played for Caerau Ely in the Welsh Football League Division 1 and Cardiff Corinthians in the South Wales Alliance League. Brown also lead Cardiff High School to their first double Welsh Schools Cup and Cardiff & Vale School Cup in 2015.

James Hogan

James Hogan enters his first season as a Graduate Assistant for the Christian Brothers University men's soccer team in 2024.


Hogan arrives at CBU from Rochester, N.Y. after graduating from Bryant & Stratton College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. During his time with the Bobcats, he was an integral part of the men's soccer team that won the 2023 USCAA National Championship. In Hogan’s final year at Bryant & Stratton, he was named USCAA Division 1 Player of the Year, earned First Team All-America honors, made the All-Tournament team, and won a second USCAA National Championship.


Hogan began his playing career in the United States at Cayuga Community College in Auburn, N.Y. where his team won the 2020 Conference Championship. He was also named to the All-Conference team.


Hogan is originally from Newcastle, England where he played for Blyth Spartans in the National League North and South.
