Head Coach - 1st Season
Cincinnati Christian University is pleased to announce the hiring of Connor Campbell as the new Head Men's Soccer Coach.
Coach Campbell is coming to CCU from Multnomah University (Portland, OR) where he has been an assistant coach for the Lions for the last four years. Campbell joined the staff at Multnomah a month after the program's inaugural season in 2014 as an assistant coach and lead recruiter for the Lions. Since that time, every recruit who joined the program came directly through him.
Connor Campbell's playing career includes All-State honors in high school from the state of Oregon as well as playing collegiately at George Fox University in Newberg, OR. As a Bruin, Connor was a 3-time captain before joining the staff as an assistant coach once his playing career concluded. At George Fox, he was in charge of the team in the offseason. He ran their practices, created workout plans, and registered the team for winter adult leagues both as a player and a coach.
Campbell earned his Bachelor's Degree in Allied Health from George Fox University and is currently working on his Master's in Soccer Coaching Education at Ohio University.
"I think sports have the unique ability to bring people together and be an avenue for people to learn about themselves and each other. I'm excited to use soccer as a means to invest in others and to help them grow spiritually, academically, and athletically. It is important to me to have a team who is growing on the field together and then making an impact off the field together as well. I believe in creating an environment of intensity as well as a brotherhood."
