Cody Bayn

Director of Athletics Sam Sibilski has announced Cody Bayn as the next head coach of the Great Lakes Christian College Men's soccer program.

Cody comes to GLCC after helping to lead Jackson College to new heights during his time as an assistant coach as well as holding coaching roles at Michigan Rush Soccer Club in Jackson, Michigan; Liverpool International Academy in Ann Arbor, Michigan; and Michigan Futsal Factory.

"I want to thank the hiring committee, Athletic Director Sam Sibilski and President Frank Weller for this exciting opportunity to lead the men's soccer program. I'm beyond excited to get working with the team and administration to pick up the program where Coach Charlick left off and carry it into the future," said Bayn

Director of Athletics Sam Sibilski said, "We are excited to welcome Cody to the Great Lakes Christian community. Cody's experience and career path helped him stand out among an impressive group of candidates. The GLCC Men's soccer program has grown to become a Top 10 program within the NCCAA DII that competes annually for Regional titles and NCCAA Tournament bids. We are confident Cody will continue building our program's success both on and off the field."

President Frank Weller said, “Soccer is important at GLCC for two reasons. It provides our students an opportunity to continue the sport they love, and it is a way we can disciple our students to become more like Jesus. Coach Bayn understands that. His experience, passion for the game, and most importantly his faith makes him a great addition to the GLCC family.”

I have had a profile on SINC Soccer for 4 years, and it helped me to organize my information so that I was ready when the recruiting process started. I had selected some schools using your site when I was 13 and that helped to start the conversation with those schools and find out about their ID camps, and when UNC made an offer I was prepared.
