Jeff Trimble

Jeff Trimble enters his second season as the head coach of the Hendrix College women's soccer program. He was named interim head coach of the men's team in September 2015.


In his first season, Trimble guided the Warriors to eight wins and a sixth place finish in the Southern Athletic Association. He coached six All-SAA selections and one All-Region Third Team pick.


Trimble came to Hendrix after a successful 16-year tenure as the head coach of NCAA Division II powerhouse Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. While with the Mustangs, he was a three-time Lone Star Conference Coach of the Year (1998, 2010, 2013) and was the 2010 NSCAA South Central Region Coach of the Year.


Trimble compiled a 194-101-28 record with MSU, winning four conference titles and finishing in the top four every season. He guided the Mustangs to the NCAA Division II Tournament three times from 2010-13.


At MSU, Trimble coached six All-Americans, 36 All-Region selections and 84 All-Conference picks.


Before becoming the head coach at Midwestern State, Trimble was an assistant with MSU women's team from 1996-97 and a men's assistant from 1994-95. He also served as an assistant coach for Warsaw High School in Indiana in 1994 and for Grace College in Winona Lake, Ind. in 1993.


Trimble was a three-time All-District and All-Conference and two-time NAIA All-American Honorable Mention goalkeeper for Grace. He helped the Lancers to three straight conference titles and earn a national tournament appearance. Trimble still owns the school record for most shutouts in a season with 11.


A native of Greenville, Ohio, Trimble played for Dayton Christian High School and was selected to play on the Ohio Olympic Development Program team following his senior season.


Trimble earned his bachelors degree from Grace in 1993 and a masters in Counseling from Midwestern State in 1999. Jeff and his wife Kelly have three sons - Alec, Evan and Owen.

Kevin Gregory

Former Hendrix College standout Kevin Gregory enters his second season as the Warrior men's and women's soccer assistant.


In his first season, Gregory coached six all-conference selections and an all-region player on the women's team and one all-conference pick on the men's team.


Gregory, from Georgetown, Texas, was a four-year starter at midfielder and defender for Hendrix from 2009-12. In 72 games, he scored one goal with six assists and contributed to 14 shutouts, including a season-record eight as a senior in 2012. Gregory was selected as an All-Southern Athletic Association Honorable Mention during his senior campaign and earned an SAA Defensive Player of the Week award.


Gregory was a member of the 2012 Warrior team that broke the school record with 10 wins.


A four-year letterwinner for Georgetown High School, Gregory was named to the All-District squad three-times and was All-Region as a senior. He also helped his club team to a state title and three runner-up finishes.


With coaching in his bloodline, Gregory is the son of long-time Southwestern University head men's soccer coach Don Gregory.


Gregory graduated from Hendrix in 2013 with a degree in History with a minor in Education. He is pursuing his master's in Secondary Education from Texas State University in San Marcos.

Laurie Waters

Former Hendrix College soccer player Laurie Waters joined head coach Jeff Trimble's women's soccer staff in September 2015.


Waters, from Rome, Ga., played in 66 career games as a midfielder. She made 34 starts and scored one goal with three assists and took 20 shots with eight on goal.


Waters was a four-year letterwinner for Rome High School, where she scored four goals and 13 assists during her career. She was also a two-time varsity letterwinner in swimming. Waters was a member of the National Honor Society and played club for Darlington Soccer Academy.


Waters graduated from Hendrix in 2015 with a degree in Allied Health.
