Kevin Nolan

Kevin Nolan comes to Columbus with a wealth of experience at the Division I level both as a player and as a coach. Nolan takes over the program after two years at NCAA Division I Radford University as its Assistant Coach and Director of Recruiting. Before Radford Coach Nolan was the Assistant at Iowa Lakes Community College where he helped build them into a national powerhouse.


During the 2020-21 modified season, Nolan helped lead Iowa Lakes to at 12-5-1 record. For the first time in program history the Lakers qualified for the NJCAA National Tournament as the #10 seed. During the national tournament, Nolan would help lead the Lakers to go on and upset the #3 seed Daytona State and the #6 seed Tyler Community College. The Lakers would make it all the way to the national semifinal and finished inside the top 4 nationally.


In 2019, his second season at Iowa Lakes, Nolan helped the team to a 14-4-1 record and finished third place in the ICCAC. The Lakers finished with a #12 national ranking and another ICCAC Regional Championship Game. The Lakers had one NJCAA All-American and two NSCAA All-Americans as well as six ICCAC All-region team members and an ICCAC Player of the Year.


After the 2019 season, Nolan helped place 12 sophomores at NCAA D1, D2, D3, and NAIA schools such as Utah Valley University, Oral Roberts University, University of North Florida, Missouri State University, Eastern Tennessee State University, Wingate University, Northwood University, Mid-American Christian University, Luther College, Montreat College, Bellevue University, Columbia International University, and the University of Rio Grande.


During his first season with the Lakers in 2018, he helped the team to a Regular Season Co-Championship and a 15-3-1 record which was the most wins in program history and a 10-spot in the national rankings. Nolan also helped lead the Lakers to the ICCAC Region Championship Game and was a part of the ICCAC Coaching Staff of the Year. The Lakers also had their first NSCAA All-American in the program's history as well as eight ICCAC All-Region team players.


Prior to Iowa Lakes, Nolan was named the head coach of Spartanburg Methodist College at 24 years old, becoming one of the youngest head coaches in the country. During his first two seasons as the head coach at Spartanburg Methodist College, he had a record of (28-10-1).


Nolan moved 50 plus players on to four-year program during his career and has coached one NCAA Division II All-American, one NJCAA All-American, and 11 All-Conference first team players. Some of the four-year schools he has sent players to are Furman University, Virginia Commonwealth, UNC Charlotte, Wingate University, University of South Carolina, The College of Charleston, and Gardner-Webb University. Nolan also helped two former Spartanburg Methodist players enter the professional ranks.


Nolan also played four years at Gardner-Webb University and graduated in 2013 with a Communications and Public Relations degree. During his time as a player, he played internationally in places such as Brazil and England.

Drew Little

Drew Little boasts a robust 14-year tenure in soccer coaching, encompassing both club and high school programs. His journey began in Omaha, Nebraska, where he dedicated five years to coaching club soccer and guiding Papillion LaVista South High School. Under his tutelage, the high school achieved unprecedented success, securing qualifications for the state tournament and attaining the prestigious #1 team ranking in the state, milestones that marked firsts in the school's history.


Transitioning to Indiana, Drew assumed the role of Seniors Director at Columbus Express Soccer Club. Concurrently, he spent four years coaching the women's team at Shelbyville High School. His impact was profound as the school witnessed a remarkable surge in performance, clinching the most victories over a four-year period and a runners-up finish in their sectional draw.


In addition to his hands-on experience, Drew's professional qualifications further underscore his expertise. He holds a coveted C License from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF).


Notably, Drew's coaching tenure extends beyond high school and club soccer. In the 2023 season, he served as an assistant coach for the IUC Men's program, further enriching his coaching repertoire and contributing to the development of collegiate-level athletes.


Throughout his career, Drew's coaching philosophy has been marked by a dedication to fostering talent, instilling discipline, and achieving tangible results. His track record of success is characterized by historic achievements at both the high school and club levels.
