Chris Weeks

Chris Weeks begins his second stint as head coach of the John Jay men's soccer program, after being appointed to the position in January. Weeks served as head coach of the Bloodhounds from 2009-2013 following the conclusion of his playing career at the College.


The Bloodhounds finished 4-0-1 over the final five regular-season matches in 2023 under Weeks before the team concluded its year in the First Round of the CUNY Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) Championships.


Before accepting the interim head coaching position, Weeks is the Director of Athletics at Capital Preparatory Harbor School in Bridgeport, CT, where he managed operations for 16 girls & boys secondary school sports while also mentoring, supervising, and evaluating the coaching staff.


On the pitch, Weeks spent five seasons in Riverdale, NY, serving as an assistant coach and holding the title of Director of Men's Soccer Operations at Division I member, Manhattan College, of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).


As part of the Jaspers' program, Weeks aided in the recruitment of student-athletes, while also designing and implementing individual strength and conditioning programs. He was a part of the team that collected 34 wins along with 22 MAAC victories as the Jaspers made it to the MAAC semifinals in 2013 and hosted their first home playoff match in 2017 as the No. 4 seed when they hosted Quinnipiac.


John Jay collected 24 wins during his first run as bench boss. John Jay appeared in the CUNYAC postseason in four straight seasons under his direction. He mentored John Jay Hall of Famer, Korede Griffith, who in 2011, netted five goals and then enjoyed a career-high seven goals to go along with five assists the following season.


Coach Weeks has extensive experience working at the youth and semi-professional levels, as he currently coaches for New York Soccer Club and has coached at Greenwich Soccer Club (2021-22), FC Westchester (2018-20), Westchester Flames (2016-19), New York Greek Americans (2014-16) and UK Elite (2014-16).


He possesses several certifications as Coach Weeks holds a USSF B License, an NSCAA National Diploma, and NSCAA Goalkeeping Level I & II Diplomas.


Weeks received a Bachelor of Arts degree from John Jay in Forensic Psychology in 2009.
