Jared Lewis

Jared Lewis '14 enters his second season as the Men's Soccer Head Coach at Lasell University in the 2023-24 season


After leading the Lasers to a GNAC Playoff birth in his first season in2022, Lewis was named the GNAC's Coach of the Year.


Lewis graduated from Lasell in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and a Minor in Psychology. He was named to the Dean's List and was a Presidential Scholarship award recipient, while playing four years of soccer for the Lasers. During his collegiate career, Lasell went 50-22-8 overall and 28-5-5 in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference.


The Haverhill, Massachusetts, native spent the 2014 and 2015 seasons as an assistant coach for the Lasers' men's soccer program. He helped organize training sessions and oversaw player development, while scouting upcoming opponents. He was the lead goalkeeping coach, managed equipment and tracked student-athletes' academic progress.


"I am excited to be back on campus with this opportunity," said Lewis. "I look forward to building a culture that will culminate in success for these young men on and off the field."


During Lewis' senior season in 2013, the Lasers finished 17-4-2 overall and 7-1-1 in the GNAC. One year earlier, Lasell compiled a 15-4-1 overall mark and a 9-1-0 record in the conference. In his rookie campaign, the unit went undefeated at 7-0-2 in the GNAC. All four seasons, Lasell finished with above .500 records overall and in the conference.


From August 2020 - December 2021, Lewis worked for the New England Surf Soccer Club in Newton, Massachusetts, serving as Head Coach and Technical Committee Member. He planned and led training sessions for assigned teams and age groups, while creating the club's standards and values. Lewis also served as a Junior Academy Director for the club, as he developed and implemented the curriculum for the JA programs across Massachusetts and ensured that regional managers were properly staffed, equipped and coached.


Lewis worked for Valeo Futbol Club in Newton from 2014-20. As Head Coach, he posted a 5-1 international record at the World Youth Football Tournament IBERCUP in Cascais, Portugal. Lewis was responsible for the recruitment, coaching and management of the team, while also serving as a Residential Camp Director. As Grassroots Director, he developed curriculum and coach sessions for the club's Mini Champions program.
