Frank Carrozza

Frank Carrozza became the head coach of Lebanon Valley’s women’s soccer program in 2022.


LVC went 6-7-4 in 2022, earning an appearance in the semifinal round of the MAC Commonwealth Championship. Carrozza helped guide five players to the All-MAC Commonwealth Team, as Hannah Ferguson, Alyssa Peiffer, Alyssa Yoder and Darrian Berkheimer were second team selections and Jocelyn Umana was listed as an honorable mention. The program also had success in the classroom, as six players were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team and 19 were named to the MAC Academic Honor Roll. Lebanon Valley was also recognized as a team in Carrozza's first season at the helm, receiving the 2022 Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award by United Soccer Coaches.


Before coming to LVC, Carrozza served as the head coach of women’s soccer at King’s College for 12 seasons. During his 12 seasons, Carrozza earned the title of King’s all-time win leader for women’s soccer. Carrozza also won the MAC Freedom Coach of the Year award in 2013. In the 2020-2021 season, Carrozza was awarded United Soccer Coaches Mid-Atlantic Region Staff of the Year. Carrozza was the first women’s soccer coach at King’s College to bring the team to a postseason berth as well as the first ever appearance in a conference final.


Before his stint at King’s College, Carrozza held the title of assistant coach for women’s soccer at Misericordia University from 2005-2009. In 2004, Carrozza worked as the head coach for the boy’s soccer team at Lake-Lehman High School. Before that, in 2003, Carrozza was an assistant coach for men’s soccer at Misericordia University.


Before coaching, Carrozza graduated from Misericordia University with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management. During his time at Misericordia, Carrozza was a four-time letter winner and senior captain of the men’s soccer team. As a player, he won the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Championship in 2002 and was awarded All-Pennsylvania Athletic Conference Second Team that same year. During his playing career he and the Misericordia Men’s team appeared in the conference final four consecutive years. He was also a NCAA Tournament Qualifier after his team won the PAC Championship in 2000 which was the first NCAA Tournament Qualifier in program history. After his undergrad, Carrozza preceded to get his Master’s degree in Sports Management from New England College.


Carrozza has continued his coaching education and has earned several coaching diplomas from United Soccer Coaches including a Premier Coaching Diploma, a Director of Coaching Diploma, a Youth National Coaching Diploma and a High School Coaching Diploma. He is currently a staff coach for USC’s coaching education department and is currently pursuing his Master Coach diploma as well as the UEFA “C” coaching license. He was also awarded the a USSF "B" Coaching License as well as worked as a staff coach with USSF’s National Training Centers.

Courtney Browning

Courtney Browning joined Lebanon Valley's staff as an assistant coach in 2023.


Browning has extensive soccer experience as both an athlete and a coach. Before joining the coaching staff for the Dutchmen, she was an assistant women’s soccer coach for King’s College for two seasons. Browning coached alongside current LVC head coach Frank Carrozza in 2021 with King’s. Browning also worked with several teams as an athletic strength and conditioning intern at Kutztown University in the Spring 2020 semester, in addition to being a student-athlete. She has been a trainer for Lions Academy, Camp Hill Middle School Girls Soccer, Capital Area Soccer Association and the Harrisburg City Islanders as well.


Browning had a successful playing career, as she was a member of Eagle F.C. in the United Soccer Women’s League for one season. She also previously competed for Hershey F.C. in the Women’s Premier Soccer League from 2018 to 2021, and for the LDC/Harrisburg City Islanders from 2012 to 2016.


Browning had success playing at the college level as well, as she was a four-year member of the Division II Kutztown University women's soccer team. During her time with the Golden Bears, the program appeared in the NCAA Division II national tournament from 2016 to 2018. In 2016, the team won the Atlantic Region Championship and appeared in the Final Four. Browning earned the program’s Women’s Soccer Coaches Award in 2018 and she received the Division II Athletics Director Association (D2ADA) Academic Achievement Award from 2017 to 2019. Browning was also named a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athlete from 2016 to 2019.


Prior to attending Kutztown, she played at Camp Hill High School from 2012 to 2016. Browning was a team captain for two years and she was named to the All-Capital Conference Team from 2014 to 2016. She also received the EPYSA Charlotte Moran Scholarship in 2015.


Browning graduated magna cum laude from Kutztown in 2020 with a bachelor’s in sports management and a minor in fitness administration. She was also a member of the Chi Sigma Mu Honor Society. Additionally, Browning graduated with a master’s degree in health care administration from King’s College in 2022.


Browning holds various coaching certifications, such as a USSF “C” License, a TOVO V-1 Positional Play Diploma, a TOVO T-2 Positional Play Diploma, a USC 11v11 Diploma, a USC 7v7/9v9 Diploma and a USC 4v4 Diploma.


Browning also has officiating experience, as she has held a US Soccer Referee Grade Eight certification since 2013. She was named the Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer Association Female Referee of the Year in 2016.
