Michael Scott

Scott begins his second season as the head women's soccer coach at McDaniel in 2025.


In his first season, Scott led the team to the second round of the 2024 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship and the semifinals of the Centennial Conference Women's Soccer Championship after the team finished second in the regular season. McDaniel boasted six all-conference selections while Scott and his staff was named Centennial Conference Coaching Staff of the Year.


Scott earned his first career win with a 4-0 victory over Goucher at home on Aug. 30, 2024 and the Green Terror were ranked as high as No. 13 in the United Soccer Coaches Division III Top 25 Poll on Sept. 10, 2024 and were also ranked first in the Region V rankings, the first time in program history that the team had been ranked at No. 1.


Scott was promoted to head coach on March 28, 2024 after seven seasons as an assistant coach, during which he helped the team win over 70 percent of its games, posting a record of 81-29-14. He was a part of five postseason appearances in six seasons, including three NCAA tournament appearances. The Green Terror won their first-ever Centennial Conference championship in 2021 and back-to-back ECAC titles in 2018 and 2019. The team also posted a school record 18 wins in 2021.


As an assistant, Scott was a part of two Centennial Conference Coaching Staff of the Year honors in 2021 and 2023 as well as the Region V staff of the year this past fall as McDaniel advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship and was ranked at No. 25 in the final United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll. The Green Terror also posted three wins against nationally ranked teams in No. 1 Messiah, No. 8 Johns Hopkins, and No. 17 Swarthmore.


A native of Fife, Scotland, Scott has coached with the Baltimore Celtic Soccer Club since 2020.


Scott was a four-year starter for the UMBC men's soccer team, helping the Retrievers win three-straight America East championships and leading them to an appearance in the semifinals of the 2014 College Cup. He served as team captain and earned All-America East Second Team honors as a senior. He currently ranks third in program history in games played with 80. He graduated cum laude from UMBC in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance.


Following graduation, Scott played for Christos FC in Baltimore and won a national championship in the United States Adult Soccer Association in 2016.


Scott received his Master of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from McDaniel in 2019 and is currently finishing his Master of Education in Physical Education and Coaching from McDaniel.


Scott currently holds his U.S. Soccer D, F, grassroots, 7v7 and 11v11 licenses and also holds his Level 1 and 2 coaching badges from the Scottish FA.

Kylee Altland

Altland begins her first season at McDaniel in 2024 after serving as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Penn State Harrisburg.


A former standout for the Nittany Lions, Altland was a three-year starter after transferring from Division II Fairmont State. She finished her career with 47 points, including 17 goals and 13 assists. She also netted five game-winning goals.


A three-time all-conference selection, Altland was named to the United East Volt Division First Team in 2023 after matching the single-season program record for assists with nine. She also added one goal, scoring in a 2-2 tie at Franklin & Marshall who was receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll.


Altland was named to the United Soccer Coaches Region IV Third Team in 2022 after totaling 18 points with eight goals and two assists. She also earned United East First Team honors.


Altland led the team with 18 points during her first season with the Nittany Lions in 2021, totaling eight goals and two assists. She was named to United East Second Team before scoring a pair of goals, including the game-winner in the United East title game to earn tournament MVP honors and lead Penn State Harrisburg to its first conference championship since 2009. The team became the first in program history to advance to the NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Championship.


Off the field, Altland was a three-time United East and a 2020 North Eastern Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete. She earned Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators as a senior and was named the Penn State Harrisburg Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2022. She was also a member of the school’s Student-Athlete Leadership Council and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.


Altland, a native of Millersburg, Pa., received her Bachelor of Science degree in marketing with a minor in communications from Penn State Harrisburg in December 2022 before earning her masters in business administration in December 2023.

Brian Boussy

Boussy joins the Green Terror staff with more than 15 years of experience coaching goalkeepers. A four-year standout keeper at Boston College, he has local roots. The Eagle from 1989-92 still ranks second all-time in saves (323), third in minutes played(5,453), fourth in wins (27) and eighth in shutouts (11).


Boussy recorded 48 career shutouts as the varsity goalkeeper at Oakland Mills high school, winning three state championships in the process. He earned all-metro and all-state accolades and was named the Baltimore Sun and Washington Post Player of the Year.


In his role with the Green Terror Women's Soccer program, Boussy guided and trained Sarah McDonald from 2014-17 in which she earned the program's first All-American nod as goal keeper. Boussy continued his success with 4-year Starter Katherine Carstensen who earned 1st Team All-Region honors in her final two years on the Hill.


Boussy holds his U.S. Soccer “C” License and NSCAA National Goalkeeping Diploma.
