Vincent Gill

Head Coach Vinny Gill is entering his 10th season at Middle Georgia State College. Gill now coaches the women's program only but spent his first 6 years as coach of both the men and women. Coach Gill was the GCAA women's Coach of the Year in 2007 and men's Coach of the Year in 2010. His women's teams have a record of 68-49-6 while the men's teams are 57-41-9. His overall record at the institution is 125-90-15.


Originally from Ireland, Gill has spent time coaching in the NAIA and NJCAA with different schools and spent one year coaching professionally with the Jacksonville Cyclones. Gill's women's team won the 2009 GCAA Conference Championship and men's team was runner-up in 2010. His women's teams have reached the GCAA semi-finals 6 of 7 seasons. His men's team have made the semi-finals 5 out of 7 seasons. Neither team has missed the playoffs since Coach Gill took over.


Coach Gill is married and has 2 children and one grandchild.

Marissa Parker

Coach Parker enters her 2nd year as an assistant coach at Middle Georgia State University. She graduated from MGSU in December 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Services Administration. She played two years when the the school was a junior college and continued to play her last two years once the school transitioned into a four-year program. Parker was a four-year starter and a captain for three. During her time at Middle Georgia, she earned Offensive Player of the Week in the SSAC in her junior year and received the Student Leadership award in her senior year. Parker was part of the first-ever team to be ranked in the NAIA top 25 and as a senior, she led her team to the final four of the SSAC tournament.
