Vincent Gill

Head Coach Vinny Gill is entering his 14th season at Middle Georgia State University. Gill now coaches the women's program only but spent his first 6 years as coach of both the men and women. Coach Gill was the GCAA women's Coach of the Year in 2007 and men's Coach of the Year in 2010. His women's teams have a record of 68-49-6 while the men's teams are 57-41-9. His overall record at the institution is 125-90-15.

Originally from Ireland, Gill has spent time coaching in the NAIA and NJCAA with different schools and spent one year coaching professionally with the Jacksonville Cyclones. Gill's women's team won the 2009 GCAA Conference Championship and men's team was runner-up in 2010. His women's teams have reached the GCAA semi-finals 6 of 7 seasons. His men's team have made the semi-finals 5 out of 7 seasons. Neither team has missed the playoffs since Coach Gill took over. In 2019, Coach Gill led the Knights to their first appearance in the NAIA Tournament.

Coach Gill is married and has 2 children and 3 grandchildren.
