Paul Vazquez

Paul Vazquez has been the head coach of the New England College women's soccer team since the 2008 season.


In 2023, Vazquez led the Pilgrims into their first season in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC), with their first-ever GNAC win coming on September 26th in a 1-0 win over Simmons University. Sophomore defender Chloe Beausoleil (Groton, Mass.) was voted to the GNAC All-Conference third team while senior defender Catie Wheeler (Benton City, Wash.) was named to the GNAC Sportsmanship Team. Sophomore goalkeeper Stephanie Bronowicki (Corona, Calif.) became the first Pilgrim to earn a GNAC weekly award as she was recognized as the Goalkeeper of the Week for week ending September 3rd. Four Pilgrims would earn College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors.


In 2022, NEC reached the championship round of the last-ever New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) tournament, coming up just short to conference rival Lesley University in the finals. Freshman goalkeeper Stephanie Bronowicki (Corona, Calif.) was voted NECC Rookie of the Year after an outstanding season that saw her claim three NECC Rookie of the Week awards, and she would go on to be voted the Pilgrims' Rookie of the Year at the NEC Awards ceremony at the end of the year. Senior defender Reese Hultgren (Charlton, Mass.) and freshman defender Brynn Murphy (Unity, N.H.) were voted to the NECC All-Conference team while sophomore midfielder Darian Taylor (Hudson, N.H.) was named to the NECC Sportsmanship team.


In 2019, Vazquez coached three All-NECC selections, including the Rookie of the Year, Kayla Paquin. Paquin was selected to the First-Team, while Leeann Demirjian and Madison Wheeler were named to the second team.


In 2018, the Pilgrims earned the second seed into the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) playoff tournament and qualified for the NECC Championship in their first season of the league. Vazquez's squad had seven members named to the NECC All-Conference teams and three were named NEWISA All-New England. Vazquez earned his 100th career win against Elms College on October 20th and tied his own program record for wins in a season at 13.


In 2016, Vazquez led the Pilgrims to their first undefeated North Atlantic Conference (NAC) schedule and to the top seed in the NAC tournament. He was named NAC Coach of the Year for his efforts and also saw four members of his squad earn all-conference honors.


The year prior, the Pilgrims advances to the NAC Championship for the first time in school history. Four Pilgrims were selected all-conference and one earned NEWISA All-New England honors.


Over the past 11 seasons, Vazquez has coached 20 all-conference players, three CoSIDA Academic All-Region members, two NSCAA Academic-All New England players, one NSCAA All-New England Player, and five NEWISA All-New England Players.


The most winningest coach in NEC women's soccer history, Vasquez has led the program to 103 victories in 11 seasons. He has also led the team to records for most wins in a season, 13 in 2016 and in 2018, and has coached five different teams to 10 or more wins.


His teams have also been to the postseason for seven consecutive years, including back-to-back championship appearances in 2015 and 2016.


Academically, Vazquez's team has also succeeded, earning six consecutive NSCAA Team Academic Awards for posting a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.


Vazquez served as an assistant coach for the New England College men’s soccer team from 2004-2008. Over four seasons Vazquez has helped lead the Pilgrims to an overall record of 40-27-7, four straight TCCC postseason appearances, and an appearance in the ECAC New England Tournament.


Vazquez owns a USSF B License and an NSCAA National Goalkeeping Diploma. He is also on the Olympic Development Region 1 Staff. Vazquez graduated from Canisius College in 1994 and is a native of Buffalo, New York.

Jeff Vogt

Jeff joined the New England College women’s soccer staff in 2014.


In 2014 he helped the Pilgrims to a program-best 12 win season and a trip to the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Semifinals. In 2015 he helped the team to a trip to the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) finals.


Vogt is entering his seventh year as the boys varsity soccer coach at John Stark Regional High School in Weare, New Hampshire. In 2012 he was voted Div. II Boys Coach of the Year. Prior to coaching the boys, he was the girls varsity soccer coach at John Stark for nine years.


Jeff was a New Hampshire Olympic Development State Coach for eight years, was a staff instructor with New Hampshire Soccer, and is the founding president of the John Stark United Soccer Club.


Jeff currently holds his USSF C License.


Vogt is a graduate of Castleton State College where he was a three-year member of both the soccer and the basketball team.
