Bryan Kuderman

Coach Bryan Kuderman has been coaching the Women’s Soccer team at Norco College since 2019. He attended California Baptist University and has been coaching collegiate soccer since 1996 where he began as an assistant at his alma mater, CBU. Coach Kuderman’s coaching philosophy is simple; “work harder than your opponent with simple tactical concepts while maintaining a determined and fun environment”. When he is not coaching he spends his time with his wife and three kids, beach camping, riding in his vespa, going out for aperitivo, or found in his classroom teaching within the Kinesiology department. Kuderman played a variety of sports throughout his childhood, and played collegiately for Cal Baptist University. What drew him to coaching was his interest and love of soccer and how it helped shape him into the person he is today. His favorite sporting achievement in his career was being a part of the National Championships as a head coach with his previous university, BIOLA. His favorite quote is “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re right!” -Henry Ford.

Drew Rea

Coach Drew Rea is the men’s soccer coach here at Norco College. Coach Rea was born in Northern Ireland, Downpatrick, and came to the US as a kid and he never moved back after that. He has a beautiful wife named Faith and two kids, Braydon and Emma. When not spending time on the field coaching his team, he can be found spending time with his beautiful family and playing golf. Coach Rea attended Western Michigan for one year, and finished playing and earned his degree at CSU Bakersfield. Growing up, to quote Coach Rea it was “Garlic, Golf and soccer.” Baseball was also a sport Coach had dabbled in, but it did not bring as much enjoyment. Coach Rea was a four year player in college and he was lucky enough to be an All American for two years and first team all CCAA for three.

Prior to starting work with Norco College in 2019, Coach Rea worked at UCR for one year, and CSUDH for 13 years and is currently the director of Legends FC. Coaching a team can bring its challenges, but Coach Rea holds a philosophy of establishing a good brand of soccer that can allow family, friends, and teammates the enjoyment of playing and watching from the sideline. His biggest goal is to get every athlete on his team to a four year college that suits them as a player and in their academic pursuit. In addition to coaching for Norco College, Coach Rea also teaches Kinesiology classes. What drew Coach Rea to coaching was when he helped coach while in college. Coach Rea’s favorite sporting achievement in his career was when he was an assistant coach. There are many big moments that happen when coaching, some of Coach Rea’s favorite achievements were winning a National title, getting to a final with the women’s team the following year after winning on the men’s side and another favorite achievement was winning Big West at UCR. Coach Rea has not been a head coach for as long, so his favorite sporting achievement as a head coach was taking the Norco team to the playoffs in 2019, beating the record of wins, and overall record the first year which gave them an amazing feeling and hunger for more. Coach Rea wanted to thank his two assistants, Ernie Para and Edwian Diaz as this journey would not be the same if it weren't for them.

It has been extremely helpful in allowing me to locate schools in a certain geography or division. Having information about the coaches and lacrosse program gave me added background without hours of research!
