Leslie Pierce

Leslie Pierce enters her first season as a Shorter Hawk in 2022. She brings to the job a wealth of playing and coaching experience, having played collegiate soccer at Harding University before enjoying a semi-pro career with Haringey Borough FC in London, England.

Prior to Shorter, Pierce spent five years at Faulkner University along with one year at Texas A&M-San Antonio.

A native of Austin, Texas, Pierce has worked with the CC United Soccer Club in her hometown, and also served as the head women's coach at St. Dominic Savio High School in Austin. She also coached at Beechwood Secondary School during her time in England.

While in Austin, Pierce was an active member of Brentwood Oaks Church of Christ. She earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Harding and a master's degree in education with an emphasis on athletic administration from the University of Oklahoma.

Pierce resides in Rome with her three dogs.
