Lacey Largeteau

Lacey Largeteau has been the head women's soccer coach at Skidmore since 2011.


Largeteau has led the Thoroughbreds to two appearances in the NCAA Tournament since arriving in Saratoga Springs (2011, 2013). In her first season at the helm, Largeteau led the Thoroughbreds to a 13-7-1 record, including the program's first NCAA Tournament win - a penalty-kick thriller over MIT.


The Thoroughbreds reached the 10-win plateau for the third time under Largeteau in 2022 and first since 2013. Skidmore finished the regular season 10-2-3 (5-1-3 Liberty League) and hosted a first round playoff match against Clarkson. Largeteau and her staff was named the Liberty League Co-Coaching Staff of the Year. Additionally, the group coached College Sports Communicators Academic All-American Claire Wolgast '24 and four United Soccer Coaches All-Region honorees (Kat Dunn '24, Wolgast, Kyra Russman-Araya '24, Isabella Nevin '23). Wolgast was later named the D3soccer.com Goalkeeper of the Year and First Team All-American.


In 2021, Largeteau led Skidmore to eight wins, matching the most since 2013, and an appearance in the Liberty League Tournament. The season was highlighted by a 2-1 win over her alma mater Ithaca College- the first victory for Skidmore over the Bombers since 1996.


Prior to Skidmore, Largeteau spent three seasons as an assistant at Williams College. At Williams, Largeteau worked with all aspects of the nationally ranked program. The Ephs played in NCAA Division III tournaments all three years she was on the staff and won three straight New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) championships. The 2008 team advanced to the NCAA Division III semifinals.


Prior to Williams, Largeteau served as an assistant at the University of the South: Sewanee from 2006-2008. Largeteau spent a year as a volunteer coach at her alma mater Ithaca College in 2005 where she played from 2001-2004.


In addition to her collegiate experience, Largeteau received her NSCAA National Diploma in 2007.


Largeteau earned a B.S. in health and physical education (K-12) from Ithaca College in 2005 and obtained a Master’s degree in exercise and sport science with a concentration in pedagogy from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2006.

Jason Tenner

Veteran high school coach Jason Tenner has joined the Skidmore College women’s soccer coaching staff for the 2020 season.


Tenner joins head coach Lacey Largeteau after coaching high school girls varsity at Queensbury High School for the past 10 years. He compiled a 123-46-5 record with the Spartans and was the 2019 Foothills Council Coach of the Year.


Additionally, Tenner has coached high school and club soccer for 17 years, including 14 years at local soccer clubs, such as Shenentaha North, Adirondack Lynx and Saratoga-Wilton Soccer Club. He is currently one of the Directors of Coaching at SWSC and coaches a number of teams at the club.


He completed his undergraduate degrees at Rutgers University, graduating in 1998, and later went on to earn a master's degree in Education at Plattsburgh University. Currently, Coach Tenner is an English teacher at Queensbury High School.
