In 2006 Coach Patton took over both the Men’s and Women’s teams at St. Catharine. During his tenure at SCC, the men’s soccer team was NJCAA Region 7 Runner-Up in 2006 and 2007 and won the Southern State Shootout in 2008. The women’s team was the NJCAA Region 7 Runner-Up in 2006, and in 2007 they won the NJCAA Region 7 Crown and went on to be a District F Semi-Finalist. Lindsey Vinson

Lindsey Vinson, joined the staff as Assistant Coach on December 1, 2014. Vinson, a native of Dawsonville, Ga., had an outstanding career as a goalkeeper on the St. Catharine Women's Soccer team. During her time at St. Catharine, she was named Academic All Mid-South Conference for all four years. She earned Player of the Week honors once, was second team All-Conference her junior year and was named NAIA Daktronics Scholar Athlete her junior and senior years. Following her graduation from St. Catharine, Vinson worked with disadvantaged youth in the AmeriCorps program in Montana. But even while that work was ongoing, she contemplated her next move. “I was probably moving back to Georgia but Coach Patton talked to me about this possibility,” said Vinson. “That was an easy decision. I am definitely invested in this place (St. Catharine) and I really, really care about the school and the soccer program.” In addition to her daily work with the varsity program, Vinson will help with recruiting, work with the Reserve Squad, and coach the Goalkeepers.

I have had a profile on SINC Soccer for 4 years, and it helped me to organize my information so that I was ready when the recruiting process started. I had selected some schools using your site when I was 13 and that helped to start the conversation with those schools and find out about their ID camps, and when UNC made an offer I was prepared.
