Natalie Acciani

Natalie Acciani enters her third season as the Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Saint Elizabeth University. In her second season, Acciani led the team to its best record and highest conference finish in program history. In 2021, her first season saw her rebuild a dwindling roster size and improve the team’s record while implementing a substantial cultural shift within the program.

"We are beyond excited to welcome Coach Acciani to Saint Elizabeth," said Director of Athletics Tom Wagenblast. "Her drive to create and foster a healthy, stable and winning culture within our department with the women's soccer program is something that our entire staff is looking forward to. Her background in playing, coaching and mentoring student-athletes will have a tremendous impact on the campus community."

In January of 2022, Acciani was named by Women We Admire Magazine as one of the Top 100 Women Leaders of New Jersey for 2021. In addition to holding her USSF coaching license, she is also a certified personal trainer, certified nutrition coach, a youth exercise specialist, and the founder and executive director of a nonprofit organization that specializes in mental health and suicide prevention. She has spoken at events on mental health issues including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, body image and bullying.

Prior to arriving in Morristown, Acciani was the assistant women's soccer and assistant women's basketball coach at Camden County College in Southern New Jersey. While with the Cougars, she played an invaluable role in training, recruiting and retaining student-athletes, coordinating fundraising activities, and monitoring academic and athletic performance.

At Camden County, Acciani also developed and implemented the athletic department's first Student-Athlete Academic Success program. She worked closely with staff in all areas of the institution to ensure the student-athletes were succeeding in the classroom and making significant strides towards graduation.

Acciani graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rutgers University – New Brunswick with a degree in Public Policy and a minor in Psychology.
