Dan Robertson has over 20 years of coaching experience from club soccer all the way to D-1. He currently holds a United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma, a USSF National C license, and a United Soccer Coaches level 3 Goalkeeper license.
In college, Coach Robertson competed in cross country running for Clarks Summit University of Pennsylvania. He was a four-time All-American and three-time national champion in cross country, competing in the National Christian College Athletic Association.
Coach Robertson began his coaching career shortly after graduating college while working his first teaching job at Maranatha Christian School in Columbus, Ohio. In 2003, he was voted the Coach of the Year in the Mid-Ohio Christian Athletic League, leading his team to a region championship. In 2004, he moved to Macon, Georgia, to begin working at Central Fellowship Christian Academy. There, he turned the boys program into one of the top teams in the GISA. He won Coach of the Year honors in 2007.
In 2008, Coach Robertson took his talents to Brewton-Parker College in Mount Vernon, Georgia. He revived a struggling women’s program and helped the team increase its goal output from four goals the previous year to 27 goals in his first season as head coach.
For the past seven years, Coach Robertson has worked with Robert Toombs Christian Academy boys and girls soccer programs as well as staying on as an assistant coach at Brewton-Parker College. In 2012, he was a volunteer assistant at NCAA Division 1 Georgia Southern, working with the goal keepers. Under his coaching, the Georgia Southern keeper set a school record for most shutouts in one season, became the SOCON player of the week, United Soccer Coaches National player of the week, and a the SOCON Tournament MVP -- all while leading Georgia Southern to its first ever National Championship tournament bid -- and all under Coach Robertson.
This is his first year as the Head Men's soccer coach at Trinity Baptist College. He is married to his wife Holly Robertson for 21 years and has 3 kids Jarod, Jadon, and Olivia
