Gabe Hall

Gabe Hall enters his second season as the UIndy men's soccer coach in 2023.


In his first season at the helm of the program, Hall guided the Greyhounds to a 10-5-3 overall record which included a trip to the NCAA Division II Tournament for a third-consecutive time. Under his direction, UIndy was able to claim the GLVC's Freshman of the Year (Kabiru Gafar) and Co-Defensive Player of the Year (Pierre Lurot) honors while landing three honorees on the All-GLVC First Team list. Hall fielded one of the top offenses in the conference as the Hounds led the GLVC in points per game (5.56), scoring offense (2.22) and total goals (40).


Hall came to UIndy from crosstown Marian University where he was the assistant women’s soccer coach for two seasons (2019-20). The Knights were the 2019 NAIA national runner-up with a 20-3-3 record. Hall oversaw the development of goalkeepers while assisting with opponent scouting and tactical planning.


Prior to Marian, Hall spent five seasons (2013-2018) as the head men’s soccer coach at GLVC-rival Missouri S&T. Hall guided the Miners to a 44-34-15 record, including a GLVC tournament appearance in each of the five seasons. His .554 winning percentage is good for second-highest in program history. Under Hall’s direction, the Miners were five-time USC Team Academic Award recipients and three-time GLVC Team Sportsmanship Award recipients.


Hall spent the 2011 and 2012 seasons at Division I Dayton, helping the Flyers to an 11-5-3 record in 2012 and a top-25 ranking in all four polls. As the goalkeepers assistant coach, he was involved in the planning, organizing and running of the team’s training sessions. He also served as the co-director of the Flyer Soccer Academy that served over 700 youth players annually. The Flyers also received the NSCAA’s Team Academic Award and won the “Flyer Challenge”, a community service competition among the athletic teams at the university.


Hall was also an assistant at New Mexico for the 2008 and 2009 seasons, where the Lobos amassed a record of 20-11-2, including a top 25 ranking, and placed six players on all-conference teams and two on the NSCAA Far West All-Region Team. Hall was responsible for monitoring the team’s academic progress. During his tenure the Lobos achieved the NSCAA Team Academic Award and had two Capital One Academic All-American selections.


Locally, Hall has been with FC Pride since 2018, serving as the assistant director of coaching. He currently oversees the boys 8-12 age group while coordinating travel for the semi-professional women’s team and elite youth programs.


Hall had a three-year professional career, playing with West Michigan Edge of the Premier Development League in 2001-02, as well as Salinas Valley Samba of the National Premier Soccer League in 2004.


A 2004 graduate of San Francisco State University, Hall earned his bachelor of science in business administration. He was a two-year captain and starting goalkeeper with the Gators after spending two seasons as a starting goalkeeper at UIndy.

Keegan Boom

Keegan Boom enters his second season as an assistant coach with the University of Indianapolis men's soccer program in 2023.


Prior to his promotion as assistant coach, Boom began working with the UIndy men's soccer program in January of 2022 by serving as the performance analyst. While in this role, he performed a handful of duties such as recording Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and event data from training and match footage, analyzing individual player performance datasets while presenting individualized development plans to the players, and producing detailed team and opposition match reports.


Other experience Boom has collected in his career includes his role as the ECNL Director at FC Pride, as well as serving as the performance analyst for professional side FK Decic out of Montenegro.


Moving to America from Doetinchem, Netherlands, Boom is fluent in three languages (English, German, Dutch). He currently resides in Indianapolis.
