The United States Sports Academy names Neil Scott as the second head coach of its women's soccer program. With over a decade of coaching experience at the high school and collegiate levels, Scott brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the program and athletic department.

Scott most recently served as the head girls and boys varsity soccer coach at D'Iberville High School in Mississippi. Prior to that, he led the Ocean Springs High School girls' soccer program from 2018 to 2023, where he achieved historic success, including the 2019 Mississippi 6A State Championship and Region 7 - 6A Championship for five straight year. That same year, he was named NFHS Mississippi Coach of the Year, United Soccer Coaches Association Mississippi Large School Coach of the Year, and Clarion-Ledger All-State Coach of the Year.

Throughout his coaching career, Scott has built winning programs across Mississippi, also serving as head coach at Long Beach High School and Pascagoula High School. At Long Beach, he led his squad to the 2018 5A State Runner-Up finish and was named the Sun Herald All-South Coach of the Year.

"We are thrilled to welcome Neil Scott back to the United States Sports Academy, this time as our head women's soccer coach," said Assistant Director of Athletics Taylor Rogers. "His impressive track record of building successful programs and mentoring young female student-athletes aligns perfectly with our vision for the future of our women's soccer program."

Additionally, Scott has extensive collegiate coaching experience, having served as an assistant coach for both the men's and women's soccer programs at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College from 2009-20214. Scott helped lead multiple teams to state and regional championships including 2011 MACJC Men's and Women's State Champions, 2011 NJCAA Men's and Women's Region XXIII Champions, 2010 MACJC Men's State Championship runner-up, 2009 NJCAA Men's Region XXIII Champions, 2009 MACJC Men's State Champion, and 2009 MACJC Women's State Championship runner-up.

"I'm thankful for the opportunity and excited for the challenges of growing a new program. The support and enthusiasm from the athletic department has been tremendous, and I'm looking forward to recruiting talented players that want to be a part of the foundation for women's soccer at the United States Sports Academy," said Neil Scott.

Scott is a graduate of the United States Sports Academy, earning his master's degree in Sport Coaching with honors in 2016. He also holds a bachelor's degree in Sports Administration from Belhaven University. His coaching credentials include an Advanced National Diploma and an Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma from the United Soccer Coaches Association, along with a U.S. Soccer Federation National 'C' License.

Scott will begin his new role immediately, focusing on recruiting and player development for the upcoming season.

Didn't have a long-term experience with the site, however I found it more user friendly than CaptainU, which I had used in the past.
